Wifi was absolutely horrible all weekend and made travelling with a child difficult. Friday when we checked in ti was being looked at my the IT department and was working ok by about 8pm but was spotty almost all weekend. I don't want ot sound like a Karen but this is a basic necessity for most people. I had to go find public wifi in order to do some work I had scheduled and it was very inconvenient. The only coffee shop for blocks being closed on weekends was also something we did not expect as we chose this hotel for what we though would be easy coffee and breakfast to go in the morning. Most likely wont be staying here again.

It was a great location as we were in Winnipeg to watch the Jets game. However, the bathroom doors don't fully close, there is no bathroom fan, so privacy is minimal. Also you can see in the shower from the bedroom, which would be good to know if you were sharing a room with a friend or family member. Lol. All and all it worked out for this stay, but we will not being staying there again. If these things don't bother you it would be a great hotel! :)

Hotel was really nice. Kinda bougie which was fun for the kids. They thought they were high rollers. Very clean, nice staff. Hotel has extra safety precautions as it’s in a bit of a sketchy neighbourhoods, but we felt very safe in the hotel.

The property is very modern with a European feel. The furniture was not comfortable in any way. Very "hard". There is no fringe in room, so we had nowhere to put our food we brought. There is no regular coffee, just espresso which is something we do not drink. We drove to a nearby coffee shop to pick up come coffee. The see-through shower into the living area is somewhat unnecessary. I went to get ice and decided to use the stairs rather than the elevator. I found myself locked in the staircase until a family member came looking for me. very door was locked on each floor from the staircase. There was no signage saying they were locked.

The hotel has a great location for the arena events. We attended hockey game and it was very convenient for walking to arena. There is also a great restaurant connected to building for pregame meal, and a Tim Hortons for morning after coffee and breakfast. Great location. The room itself isn’t much. Very clean and up to date, but very basic, no fridge and just the minimal of what you’d need. Wouldn’t be a family stay, but excellent to attend an event at the arena for sure
