Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Prince George

Bought a jacuzzi room online, showed up to check in at just before 5pm and room wasnt ready till after 7pm, when check in states 3pm, kept selling rooms online that weren’t available or supposedly not even cleaned yet. Expected me to wait in a lobby for over 2 hour’s, bought that suite as a night away from kids, traveled 2 hour’s to only have to sit on a 30 minute phone call for a refund then they sold me a king room that was ready for more expensive. Worst experience won't ever return when this is the only hotel we've given business to every visit. Lost a long term customer and everyone we know, what a shame!

Upon arrival there was only one staff member on a Friday evening to check in, so the wait times were quite long. Once we finally checked into the room we noticed that we could hear the family next door clear as day. Instead of complaining and trying to make a family be quiet and not enjoy their stay as well, I asked if I could be moved to another room where I could possibly have some quiet, even willing to down grade from my king suite just for the quiet. The reply was that every room would be that noisy so I was to just "expect" there would be noise in any room i moved to and then said he wouldnt move me either way. Just disappointing not enjoy my evening alone and be able to sleep. My neighbours next door then began their day at 6 am to which i was awoken for the day, not only to have no coffee mate or sugars for my coffee, so i waited and went to the lobby starbucks at their opening time. However, the starbucks then did not open for another hour so i checked out and left early instead of enjoying a quiet morning in my 200$ room.

We as a family loved pool was for family not to deep and hot tub was awesome

The staff were very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. Hallways had a slight smell of septic. Hottub was hot but didn't work. Couldnt get hot water in our room only warm. Definitely not a family oriented as there were people drinking up and down the hallways all hours of the night yelling.

Check in was quick. Room was nice. Love that they have Starbucks in the lobby. Parking garage is nice for security but a bit of a challenge with kids and luggage having to cross the street to get to it. All in all it was a good stay and we sould stay again.

My sister and I were just stopping overnight at the Ramada, Prince George before driving onward to be with family. Our room was comfortable, however we were shocked by the see-through glass divider wall between the bed area and the bathroom. No privacy there! My time in the hot-tub was appreciated, but there were no jets nor control found for that service. Overall we had a good rest in a clean updated room.

The facility is conveniently located, clean, comfortable, and friendly. My entire family enjoyed the exercise room and pool. The hotel restaurant was closed, but there are a few breakfast options within a short walking distance and grocery stores within a short car ride. We did not get daily housekeeping service but did when asked. I usually do not want daily housekeeping service when I travel anyway, so I did not mind having ask. When asked, the service was quick and fulsome. The parking was slightly inconvenient. There are limited stalls available at no cost in the parkade across the street from the hotel. The stalls are tight and often other guests thoughtlessly occupied two stalls. When asked, the hotel staff directed me to street parking even though signage indicated that no parking from 0000-0700 (overnight) was permitted. I assume the signage is more specific to winter months when streets need to be ploughed. The staff were helpful and friendly at all times. Locals were surprised that we were staying downtown and walked around the downtown core at anytime of the day as they think it is unsafe to do so. We did not feel unsafe at anytime. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return again sometime.
