Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Penticton

It was a Wednesday night they must have been at 50% or less occupancy but there was a family above my room that kept me awake until 2am.

Our family stayed at this property to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the SOEC. It was an easy 5 min walk to the venue. The room was large, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly as well. We would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is beautiful and it was close to the family we were visiting. First night was horrible, Hockey players were running in hall and slamming doors so we did not get much sleep Next night was a great sleep. Hotels need to put teams on one floor and preferably Ground Floor so they only disturb their team not other people in Hotel.

Our stay was wonderful, my family of 4 swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub, used the 24 hr gym, fabulous breakfast until 9:30am each morning, snacks coffee and tea 24 hours, very clean, great air conditioning with the smoke outside, close to everything, plenty of parking, fast check in and check out, we'll definitely be back!!!!

We had room 310 , 2 queen beds. The bathtub is only good for small kids, it is seriously small. Get cream from downstairs,they only have those very cheap coffee mate packets in room. On arrival we asked where to get food, we were sent to the restaurant at the casino …it was closed. Maybe your front desk should know a little more about what is around them before telling a customer they can eat there. The front desk left a written message and a bottle of wine in room, the message had “Mr”, I booked the room for my sister and myself. There were NO MALES in room. Maybe take the time to see who booked the room I ask for a receipt from the front desk on checkout, the customer service agent said , no we don’t give receipts, you can get from Expedia, hotels don’t give receipts. I was a little shocked at this answer when I just left a hotel in another city that did. After explaining 2 times that I needed a printed receipt from hotel. She started typing hitting her key board harder then necessary. If I didn’t need the receipt , I would have walk right out. My sister was surrounded by drunk just across the street at the gas station, a policeman happen to show up, he walked her to the hotel. This is a 2 minute walk. Just heads up for anyone going to Penticton. Do I think it was worth the price I paid for this hotel…. No.

Great location for what we were doing around town. Helpful staff and quiet rooms. Didn’t hear anyone and I know there were tons of kids due to the music festival.

Staff were accommodating of our large family group giving us the opportunity to gather in the cafeteria area for a family dinner and gathering which was very appreciative as we were coming together from multiple provinces to celebrate the life of our late Grandma. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious with a variety of options. The rooms were clean and stylish.

Wow, so super loud in the pool area! Just wanted to relax and use hot tub! NOT hotel's fault on very selfish guests but wow is what I can say as these kids were loudest ever of all time anywhere and the parents tonight, (hope they see this!), cared zero on anyone else like me in the pool area! Guests like them are the factors and culprits on what make hotels so expensive as they as well let their one kid just let the shower water run forever after not using it anymore. Just so stupid, just so oblivious to the world and wasteful! I still tried to use the hot tub even though so super loud in there but the jets were just barely ok. Was not a good experience at all and I left more stressed than when I arrived in there to just use a hot tub I planned to use in the first place on my booking made. Room though is clean and hope it is quiet the rest of the time and will maybe try to use the hot tub again in peace in the early am. Hope those awful parents are not up early!!!, and not back in the pool area!

The property was clean, Sean and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean, the beds were super comfortable and we slept like a baby. The continental breakfast served waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, etc, It was delicious. Overall we were very happy and we will be back when were in Penticton.
