Vegreville Suites

Check in was great. Friendly staff. Any requests that we had were met. The room we were in had not been vacuumed. We found dog food on the floor. The beds are really quite hard. Beyond firm really. Very noisy family checked in around 11:15pm and were not considerate at all.

Water slide was a hit for my family!!

The pool was great for the kids, the beds were comfy, the mini fridge worked too good and froze the drinks:))

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. There must of been a hockey tournament in town because the hotel was filled with hockey kids and their parents. These kids were sooo loud. Always yelling and screaming. At one point at 9:15 p.m. there were about 8 kids playing hockey in the hallway right outside my suite. I asked the kids to move and they move about 2 feet. Not knowing where these kids parents or chaperones were I called the front desk and the staff handled the problem. They also closed the fire doors to my suite hallway which helped alot. Thank you!!

One issue that stands out is kids playing in the halls that didn’t appear to be addressed by the staff.

Property was convenient for what we needed at the time. Loved the joining rooms with a member of my family. Staff was very polite and helpful. Next time i come through your town again i will be staying at the hotel again.

This is the third time to this property. I like taking the kids here for a night when we’re bored. The staff are always so friendly and personable. My kids love the hotel because the pool and water slide and hot breakfast. I will continue to come to this location as long as it stays consistent.

First off, I had a nice quick stay in Vegreville. The hotel is quite nice. The room was well appointed. The ammenities in the bathroom were excellent. The room was clean. The kitchenette was complete with everything you could possibly need. I stayed in room 102. This is important because it was right beside the pool/fitness area. It was very noisy until 10pm. Doors slamming, loud voices, excitement from the waterslide. Additionally, the family above me had children that were running around and jumping around - again until 10pm. It was quiet after that and I had a good sleep. Another funny quirk about the room was that I think the main drain pipe went through the wall because showers and toilets were whooshing whenever the plumbing was being used above me. These are undesireable rooms. But I was only there for a night and when I wanted to sleep, it was quiet enough so no real complaints. Just quirks of the room. The breakfast in the morning was spectacular. The staff were awesome. I would stay again if in the area - just on a different floor. Although being on the first floor was convenient for accessing all the hotel stuff (pool, ice, breakfast). I did enjoy my stay overall.

Perfect place, we have stayed twice while visiting family.

Our family planned to stay here after a day at the fair in another town. The whole point of staying at this hotel was to go swimming and use the water slide. We were not told at check in that the pool was not in use. So after settling into our room we got our two young children ready to go swimming, took them down to the pool to just be let down. We live an hour from this location, if we knew the pool was out of order we would have bypassed the hotel.
