Red Deer Resort & Casino

Resort is connected to the casino and this meant easy parking, access to dining, two gas stations at the corner and friendly service. We really enjoyed our breakfast and lounge access with the CLUB Level rooms. Patricia at breakfast is absolutely lovely to converse with. She definitely is someone perfect to greet you in the morning and make you feel welcomed and like this is home. Marie was also lovely to talk to during the lounge hours of 5-9pm where CLUB level rooms could have some apps before heading to dinner. One night they had these rib bites that were so yummy and the next night the mac and cheese was almost done before I arrived at 6pm. Rooms: (Club Level 11th floor) Bathroom could be updated to have more room to move around and I love the eco friendly shampoo and conditioner. Beds were very comfortable and the luxury pillows were supportive and comparable to my $150 ones at home. Robes and slippers were available to use during our stay with was helpful with travelling to the 24 hour sauna and steam room. I am sad to say the pool closes at 10 pm which was always busy right up to it. Thinking it should be changed to 1030 or 11 as there is not much to do with family when everything else is closed. Check in and out was effortless and I would stay here again for the service and amenities.

It was a nice stay. We were a little disappointed that there was no slide in the pool for the kids and no on-site family oriented restaurant. The only one kids could go to was too expensive for kids and not good for vegetarians either.

Lack of parking, unbelievably noisy and nothing being done about kids screaming and running up and down the hallways. Lack of elevators and long lines to get on a elevator. No bathroom fans. Cleaning staff were great and helpful. Casino staff great as was service.

Very nice resort for a weekend away. The whole family enjoyed.

The hotel is older but still nice. The beds are comfortable. The pool is well used and it’s nice for kids. Not very deep!

There is not enough parking for hotel guest as well as the casino and event centre. Front desk told us to come back in 15-20 minutes and maybe they’ll be a spot. Parking lot was a joke, both the establishment and City of Red Deer should be embarrassed. People parking on curbs, in front of hydrants, blocking off row exits. People had to drive over the curbs and sidewalks to get onto the street. Rooms are dated compared to the pictures posted on the website. Door to rooms are more of a closet door. Could hear all hallway noise and see the lights from the hallway all around and underneath it. We had kids running up and the halls, banging on doors. Not a pleasant experience from what the website displays.

We had a great stay for two nights, the room was spacious and very clean and we thought the lobby was very nice! The only thing we noticed when we went to bed was the thin walls, we could hear everything our neighbours were saying, their baby crying and it was very loud.

Pictures made this property seem luxurious. Furtherst thing from. Old dirty hotel that’s undergoing renovations. The new casino is nice if you gamble. ZERO parking, people parked blocking eachother in. Room was old dated, windows with moisture and mold smelling. Traveling with newborn felt uneasy and inconvenient.
