The property is incredible, with beautiful views and a private beach. Lots of little nooks to explore (my kids loved the hammock overlook). And the very friendly staff really were the cherry on top. They led multiple activities for the kids all weekend, which made for a perfect mix of fun and relaxation.

We had a FANTASTIC time at the Reefs. It was the first time my husband and I got away without the kids in 9 years and we were able to relax, walk on the beach, swim, snorkel, and eat good food. We also took a couple day trips and enjoyed Bermuda. The staff was super friendly including our waiter Ryan and the beach attendant Joshua who gave us tips for local travel. The accommodations were classy yet understated. The other guests were friendly. The food was delicious. Only downside was the expense, though this was our first trip to Bermuda so don't have a good point of comparison. Would overall recommend highly!

The reefs is a very nice property. It was pretty quiet, but we went in the winter off season. The food is good, but it was really annoying to have very young children in a "fine" dining room. The internet connection was fine in the common areas, but weak in our room.
Overall, the Reefs is a good place and we will return. The staff is superb. The beach is good. Easy access to bus transport around the island.

We loved the Reefs! We celebrated a wedding anniversary while we were there. Staff was very welcoming and we felt that we were treated like family. Views of the ocean are spectacular. Loved that use of snorkels and kayaks was complimentary and we saw fish right off the beach. There aren’t many individual guest rooms so the resort is quiet and relaxing. We didn’t see many families with young children. Food at both Aqua Terra and Coconuts was excellent. Enjoyed afternoon tea and the vibe around the bar. The bathroom could use some minor updates. There was no bathroom fan and no place to hang wet bathing suits. We also rented an electric car but there wasn’t a 110 V outlet in a parking area near our room. We had to charge the car across the street in Oleander’s lot.

The resort felt like family :)
Definitely would return.
Would have liked a beach guard on duty and an ATM on property
A tiny counter selling sunblock and necessities would be a plus too and perhaps a juicer selection of the reefs branded tshirts - pullovers :)

This was our first visit to Bermuda. I wanted to stay somewhere that reflected the beauty of the island, had beach access and a pool. The Reefs fit the bill perfectly! The hotel grounds are beautiful, tucked among cliffs with stunning ocean views. Our room was large, with a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. The staff is top notch, friendly and helpful, they treat you like family. We enjoyed every meal we ate, breakfast was included in our price and it was excellent. We had a beach BBQ, food, live music and an incredible sunset. The Reefs has everything to make your Bermuda trip memorable.

Amazing gem in Bermuda. Very quiet and beautiful spot. Almost feels like a private resort. The spa has an amazing view and great staff. Pedro at the front desk makes you feel like part of the family and the food was amazing. Hoping to go back soon and see the renovations done at Coconuts on the beach!

South Shore Bermuda is the place to be. The weather in the Fall is perfect for Canadians and Northeasterners! As a returning guest I could see the toll the recession and the hurricane caused the island. I booked through Orbitz and was given an older room that could have used a good deal of upkeep, that said the views from my room were spectacular. I believe calling the hotel directly is the way to go. The mosquito blood on the drapery was annoying and it was obvious that no one was about to replace those quickly. The staff was polite and accommodating, the restaurant staff was friendly but overworked. The spa massage was glorious, although for the same price much more in ambiance and extras are given at other hotels. While there I noticed many of the older guests were struggling with the steepness of the stairs and the long climbs to the beach. The beach was as good as it gets and especially if you are traveling with children. At low tide the kids can swim and play without fear, there is plenty of activity such as kayaking and snorkeling right there. The scooter shop is directly across the street and the bus stop to Hamilton just across the street. There is so much good here that with more diligence to the upkeep and more training of the bus and bellman staff, with the exception of Winfield who is the quintessential Bermudian Best, I would be happy to have given the Reefs a higher rating.

Just spent a week with family at this wonderful resort. Never before felt so much truly vacationing and like at home. In short, things run as a Swiss watch. All the staff is very attentive and friendly. The facilities are very clean and constantly kept up. The food and drinks are delicious. Definitely recommend and hope to return soon!
