We had to stay an extra night in Belize and needed something close to the airport This was a 6 min drive and had a nice pool and my kids loved the free pool table that was available. We had our own individual cottage which was really nice. The metal roof was really loud during the thunderstorms, but overall we were very happy with r stay. The food we had for dinner was excellent and the free breakfast was a bonus. I would recommend if u need a place to stay near the airport.

I highly recommend the Sea Side Chateau for its serene setting, ocean breeze, and ample space for relaxation, making it an ideal spot for families. The resto is a bit pricey though.

The property was secluded upon arrival we were greeted by security and staff who assisted you with luggage to our room. Overall our stay was unbothered. It was very peaceful and serene. We went with our 3 a d 6 year old children and they loved it. We got a room with a kitchenette. but no pots or pans. We asked staff and they gave us a pot. We were short on wash cloths and towels and they gave it to us. If you dont see something just ask. Also if you like to fish they have fishing rods available for rental. Plenty good fish are in the river. My husband caught a snook and the hotel staff prepared it for us. It tasted amazing thanks to Chef Ellis. I also met the manager he is a cool down to earth guy. My overall experience was lovely. Wish we had stayed longer. Cant wait to go back. They also have a cruise than you can take along the river to sightsee and fish. We did an early morning cruise and saw howler monkeys, manatees, dolphins, iguanas swimming, crocodiles and a wide variety of edible fish..Our captain Anthony was knowledgeable and gave us a great tour along the river.

Perfectly situated away from everything. Great staff and phenomenal food at the only restaurant. Very accommodating to their guests needs. Extremely private! A perfect place for either a honeymoon type getaway or a family trip.

We have two families, so I booked their family suite (triple) - which means two queen beds and one sofa bed. In their ads, they didn't specify it is one bed room. From the photos in ads, we thought those two queen beds are in two rooms. But we we arrived, we found out it is actually one room. Then I asked the manager where is the room in ads, the manager is very rude and told me this is the only room has two queen beds. Then I told him you are cheating. The manager then ask me to pay extra US$50 to have a another room. By the end, I had to pay extra US$50 to the hotel. After we sit down, I found the room the hotel given to me is called Deluxe Quadruple Room in the ad. I don't recommend this hotel to anybody.

This place was amazing. The front desk seemed a little unorganized, but all the other staff went above and beyond and treated us like family. I was really sad leaving even though we were there for just two nights. The property is beautiful and at night, it was so serene with string lights going throughout the property. The hammocks on the beach at night were my favorite; we even saw a shooting star. I loved the dogs on the property; the security at the guard gate introduced me to all of them. The food was fresh and delicious, and the cook staff, especially Ellis, were phenomenal. The driver of the property, Alex, was so nice. really made us feel comfortable, and safe. He even would let us know about tourist traps so we wouldn't spend as much money. Alex also taught me the right way to eat beans and rice. They arranged all our tours and even had a wonderful sunset tour I highly recommend if you want to see the animals in the wild. We saw howler monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, Montezuma birds, and manatees. I highly recommend this place!

I like that it was secluded and private. I would have liked more fishing equipment since you are so close to the river. And the fish are just overflowing. I like also that it was a family owned business. We will be back in the near future.

Very quiet hotel, family-owned. Staff is nice. The hotel is close to the airport.
Cons: No restaurants or shops at walking distance. If you want to go to Belize city you need a taxi 15-20 minutes ride; although you can arrange transportation with hotel management and they will take you. The beach is not that good because the river is close; however, they have a very nice pool with great views. In summary, it is a nice place, if your are looking for a very quiet hotel, this is a good option

It was a beautiful secluded property. The staff was amazing and friendly. There were a couple of dogs that were loving and part of the property and my kids loved them. We felt welcome, safe and the staff was lovely and amazing. It was our first trip to Belize and we were not even sure of where we were going or doing. It was a trip we will never forget. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting.
