Harbour View Boutique Hotel & Yoga Retreat

Our family stayed here the night before a flight. Hotel was fine, but I tried multiple times to reach staff by phone and email before our stay and got no response. Once we checked in, they were great arranging airport transfer for us. Hotel is in a pretty quiet area with an only a few restaurant options nearby. Rooms were basic, clean, and had good air conditioning. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Grounds were full of lovely plants and flowers. Hotel is a five minute walk from Belize Water Taxi.

The garden is charming and peaceful. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The pool is large enough to dip & swim a bit - but would feel crowded with more than 6 people. Lovely garden feel around the pool and the bird songs are amazing! However - there is no harbor view from pool or rooms, only from the cafe. Their is a charming family park on the backside of the Hotel which is lovely during the day and evening. However - the park was overtaken by a terrifying gathering of wild dogs during the night with extensive and repetitive fits of barking throughout prime sleeping hours. The room came preset with ear plugs. Now I know why!

From the time I landed in Belize City, the staff took excellent care of me. They offered to arrange for a taxi to pick me up from the airport and drive me to Harbour View. Martha's Cafe is wonderful--fresh, tasty food served by attentive waitresses. The front desk arranged fantastic tours of Belize from a family-owned business. I loved walking the beautiful grounds--and the caretakers not only do a wonderful job of maintaining the gardens, but they are very friendly and give great advice on things to do in the area. The water taxi is a few blocks away if you want to explore Caye Caulker or San Pedro. I highly recommend Harbour View!

The property was a oasis of plants and flowers.The birds were amazed we even saw wild parrots, humming birds, pelicans and a female iguana. The cottage we stayed in was a great size and extremely comfortable. It's smaller size made it more family like and you are pampered and you feel like royalty My wife abd I give 6 out of 5 stars.
