This was a gem of a find - it's in an excellent location and very quiet! I was there with my husband and 3 children (14,13,10) and my inlaws. The rooms are big and quiet - even a separate toilet from the bathroom - and I didn't hear a peep from the other guests which was amazing. Some of the decor is a bit tired in some places but it was clean and the bed was the comfiest I've been in for a long time. The breakfast was amazing and so many choices, you won't be disappointed. Our kids ate free and they loved the waffle making machine. Parking is very easy in the underground car park right next to the hotel. Unfortunately you don't get a discount on parking when staying with the hotel - it was 30 euros for us to park there for two nights. The weather when we stayed was a bit horrendous - it rained the whole full day we were there - but the outside pool was still open! It was heated to about 24C and so we went swimming in the rain (and so did some other families!). I was impressed that the pool was even open. No lifeguard so you do need to keep an eye on the kids - and there is a deep end. If it had been warm and sunny it would have been bliss. It's very easy to walk to all the main sites and there are some restaurants just 2 - 5 minutes walk away. We tried the Indian just down the road which was very nice, and a local Flemish place too. Beware that there is no hotel restaurant which we found out after hoping to have dinner there one evening, apart from some pizzas and snacks.

Very clean and comfortable in the centre of Bruges just a few minutes walk from the central square an Belfort. Parking is in the adjacent underground Garage - €14 per day. There is a nice bar area and a restaurant serving breakfast though we did not make use of this - at €22 per person, we opted to go and find our onw in the town, though it should be noted that children eat free in the hotel with paying adults.
We would definitely stay here again if visiting Bruges.

Great location as not right in the centre but not on top of everything
Having the pool was a great respite from walking around
The room is fine. Not luxurious but enough for what we needed.
The buffet breakfast was worth the money especially as the kids eat for free
Would def stay again

We couldnt stay there
They allowed us to check in knowing that the A/C was broken … July 18 @ 40 Celsius
When we asked why, they said the management does not allow them to tell the customers the A/C is broken
Dirty, the carpet was ugly, beds are terrible… old and dismantled
NEVER book this place
At the end, they accepted the claim and reimbursed , but we were a family of 10 (3 kids) looking for another place at 11pm

Great hotel in a great location. So close to the center of Bruges and the other sights around the town, all within walking distance. If you are driving to Bruges then there is a car park just next door. The 2 receptionists were brilliant, made us and especially our son feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Good amenities in the hotel for families with things for children to do and keep them occupied, the xbox and games table in reception are a really good idea!! We would definitely recommend and stay again if we visit Bruges again.

Had another great stay in Bruges. Never been in Winter before but would definitely return at that time of year as if was really nice. Christmas markets and ice skating was great! Stayed at the Novotel for the first time due to visiting with family who had small children. The hotel was very family orientated and well situated for Bruges with everything in walking distance to the hotel. Hotel bar was lovely to go to before going to bed. The only reason I didn't rate this 5/5 was due to my shower not working which was disappointing. Luckily I was in a family room with an adjoining room so I was able to use their shower but not ideal really.
