Several prior reviewers wanted more modernity. For modernity go to Brugge Crowne Plaza or Ibis. This is a charming, historic family run hotel full of history but with modern conveniences. Think Miss Marple. We used a superior double for 4 days. It was spacious (for the low countries), very clean, great bed, useful minibar. Excellent breakfast in charming breakfast room. Rates vary widely online but booking way in advance, as we did on H.com , made for very reasonable pricing with brekkie included. We would return.
