Stayed 1 night, didn't have breakfast. Great family room. Square outside hotel room (ground floor with opaque window) frequented by people drinking cans of beer and noise of drunks talking right outside window of our room went on for half an hour from around 11.30pm

Overall not a bad hotel, but be aware of location of the hotel. Shame as the hotel is pretty, clean and had nice amenities inside. Just wish you could pick it up and move it closer to the center of Brussels. To expand, the immediate surrounding area seems run down and many businesses and shops were closed down, the ‘garden square’ in front of the hotel was filled with overgrown weeds, dead plants and probably hasn’t been maintained for months, if not a year. Also, lots of trash and didn’t feel clean nearby. Very busy street along the hotels side and no easy, or safe feeling, way to walk towards the heart of Brussels. Another concern was the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Asked the two front desk staff for a local laundry to do a small load. Neither could recommend one and so we had to figure out on our own and ventured even further into what seemed like an unsafe and unfriendly area. Second interaction was that the breakfast staff would not allow us to take food up to our two children who were not feeling well one morning. Just tried to take croissants and jams, but they stopped us and told us they would have to come down to the restaurant. Not a lot to ask, especially when breakfast is included with the stay and when children are unwell.

We had a great stay at Urban Yard with my family, they provided baby’s cot. The team was very helpful, the customer assistance was amazing, especially Anass. From the design to the location of the hotel is a 5 stars, but I gave Urban Yard 4 stars because they don’t provide a fridge. It’s difficult to look after a child in a room without a fridge.

We stayed with a baby and toddler and enjoyed how very close this hotel was the to train station! We used Brussels to travel with the train to different areas and loved how easy it was to walk to the train. The hotel itself is very nice, beautiful and clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The surrounding area of the hotel isn’t very clean or feels very safe, but inside the actual hotel we felt completely away from all of that! They make a great effort and we would definitely recommend if using Brussels as a port to other places!
