Sandyport Beach Resort

Great place for the family. For the price I think it is a bit over rated. The sand beaches are AMAZING!!! Down side is there is no gym included. If you want to use the nearby gym you have to pay nearly $20 per day per person. Staff is very friendly and helpful!!! Not a place I’ll stay at again only because of the gym not being included and the price.

It was great to have a private beach and a nice pool for kids to play. The things that we did not like were the condition of our room especially the bathroom, there was mold all around the bathtub. The TV in our room could use an update. Overall we liked our stay.

A hidden gem full of so much beauty! We can’t wait to come back! Our kids loved the pool area and calm beaches. We enjoyed all the restaurants, hammocks, pool bar, and watching the sealife.

I arrived to the hotel around 8pm. There were several families waiting to check into their rooms. The hotel only had one staff member working at the time so the wait was very long. I had to travel a distance to get to the room and there was no staff to help with baggage. There were no outdoor lights so I walked in the dark while it rained heavily. I ended up walking through several deep puddles of water because I could not see anything. I barely slept because the guest next to me played music you could hear across the property until midnight and then started again at 6am. The property had a mosquito problem and I was eaten alive in the lobby and in my room. I would suggest paying more money and just saying at the Atlantis or Baha Mar.

The pool is amazing! The kids loved the slides, and the bar there has lovely bartenders who are very hospitable. There is a cool ocean view on all sides and a shuffleboard court that leads to the ocean and lots of conch shells adorn the deck to view the glorious ocean, sunrise, and sunsets! Thank you for the beautiful service!!

The area was perfect for our family vacation - quiet, convenient, with a really nice beach in walking distance. We had plenty options for dining out, including breakfast each day at the resort. The staff was wonderful and we can't wait to come back!

Sandyport Beach Resort was lovely and perfect for a low key vacation. It seems more geared to families, but if you’re looking for a nice place to stay with a beach view and pool, you should definitely come here. There are some great restaurants nearby, we loved Mi & B’s, Spritz, and Bob Vivants. The room we booked had two queen beds and a bathroom, which was fine for our girls trip. The other properties looked really nice too.
