Hyperion Hotel Salzburg

Bad service. We were asked to upgrade our room in order to receive a baby crib but had to keep calling the reception to request for the bed. After 6 hours and many calls we were finally provided with the baby bed. We were told they did not have holders for suitcases and we had to open our suitcases on the floor

We had an excellent stay at the Hyperion Salzburg. The location was great, right across the street from the Mirabelle Gardens. It was an easy walk to the Alstatdt part of Salzburg. Here is what set this hotel apart for us: Refreshing (and changing) beverage each day in the lobby along with chocolate truffles. It was so lovely to look forward to those little treats every day after a long day of sightseeing. In our room category which was a junior suite, we had access to the executive lounge (small quibble here, we were not informed of that when we checked in so we missed out on two days of lounge access until I read our original confirmation email detailing the amenities! BOO!) The lounge allowed us to have a light breakfast and coffee free of charge in the mornings and had snacks and drinks throughout the day. Our room was HUGE and we enjoyed having so much room to move around in. I also like that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower and sink. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend the Hyperion to anyone visiting Salzburg.
