The place is very wonderful and unique. Ideal for families with children with a very homie vibe. I like that it has a kitchen where have an option to cook but there are a lot of cafe’s around.

The location was great for visiting Melbourne with the tram right outside the front door and St Kilda and the beach at the end of the road. The room was a little tired and some of the electrical points/light switches need some attention. However it was comfortable and good for a small family (we stayed in the suite). The front desk staff were very helpful!

This hotel is very old and the condition reflects that. The suite was spacious, but everything else is dated and not very well maintained. I would not recommend staying here, especially for families.
