Dorsett Gold Coast

The place was lovely although we booked what we thought was a bigger room with a lounge going by the photos advertised. we have children and needed a different space to get work done in quiet and some down time in another room for when they slept. it was actually just a room and then separate lounge on another level made it a bit harder with children in a smaller space and to try and get work done and have some space away from the kids.

Up to visit family very happy to stay in your hotel, staff at reception welcomed us on arrival and we enjoyed our stay will come back again

Great location, close to the beach, cafés and restaurants. The pool is hard to enjoy. It gets extremely crowded, lots of kids. People come in first thing in the morning to drop a towel on the sunbeds and pool chairs.

Beautifully decorated rooms, very clean in an excellent position. The pool area is spacious and has plenty of seating. The children spent hours swimming. There is a bar/cafe next to the pool that serves great coffee and snacks. The parking can be tricky to find your way up and down the levels, but if you park on levels 3, 3M or 4, there is direct access to the hotel and you must get your car park ticket validated each time you go out and come back into the car park. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The grandchildren were given cute teddies on arrival, and due to having dairy allergies, a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit was made in the executive lounge for them too. It’s clean and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble and we were always asked how we were and if everything was ok. Very relaxing stay

The staff were friendly and accommodating as I was staying there for my wedding. They allowed us to pay extra just to have breakfast in the executive and were receptive to my every request. Even though the pool was off limits for an event we were still able to use the Star’s pool. My only surprise was that you pay for the entirety of the stay on check-in and there was no car park on arrival. I had to drive around to the Star’s parking area up to level 3M then unload baggage from there which isn’t a short distance to our room when I think about it. I loved how easily you can access the Stars facilities and restaurants. The interior of the deluxe king room was refined and modern. It was enough room for 2 adults and a small child.
