Cairns Plaza Hotel

Good family hotel in a great location. Its a older hotel but its in a great location and a good price for a family room. It is being renovated and the parts that are done like the pool area are looking great. Comfortable beds and room serviced every day with friendly staff.

Reasonably priced room and location is along the esplanade, right next to more expensive hotels. It has a small pool but location is also only a short walk to the Lagoon. We had 2 double beds so great for families on a budget. Plus playground right in front.

Doors between bathroom bedroom and kitchen make everything very tight and extremely annoying. Otherwise loved our stay great views, very clean and family friendly.

Great location for families being across the road from a great play area. Easy walk to marina.

Very close to the city esplanade. You can spend your whole day in and around that area with kids. Reasonable pricing.

Excellent for family, great facility, easy walk to everything.

Travel with my family, All staffs are so nice & helpful! Location is great only few minutes walk to downtown, We have a great ocean view room, Outdoor swimming pool & free parking! I will stay in this hotel again if I travel to Carins again!

Super unpleasant! Super unsanitary! ! Super worst! ! ! 2023/10/14 We stayed in Cairns Plaza Hotel room 408 with 3 people baby. When I lifted the toilet seat cover to use the toilet, the inside of the toilet bowl was sticky with yellow liquid. I was shocked at how dirty it was and went to the front desk to complain. I was told that I had already finished cleaning my room and wouldn't be back until tomorrow, so I couldn't do anything! He didn't even come to check! It was a mistake to choose the Plaza Hotel for our last stay in Cairns. I have stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I have stayed in a hotel that was so unsanitary, uncomfortable, and had such poor service. I don't think there is any other hotel other than the Plaza Hotel where you have to clean the toilet first when you enter the room.I feel bad, but I took a photo and will send it to you. evidence. How can you explain? PS; They said there would be 3 people staying, but they only had 2 blankets. Is the lighting on the living room wall broken? It's blinking and won't light up. One side of the shade lamp next to the sofa is broken (does not light up)

Fantastic family-run property. Great customer service, perfect location with kids, right across the road from Muddy’s, water splash park and playground. All within easy walk from town and lagoon. Will def stay again!

This property is cutely updated (despite the font of the hotel sign signaling otherwise 😂) and room details are super practical - 3 beds for families, on-site laundry. Location is excellent for strolling and shopping. Staff super friendly. For some reason, no comforters we’re provided on the beds but I’m sure we could’ve looked in the closet or just asked the staff for blankets.
