ibis Sydney Thornleigh

Staff at the desk were lovely but it took four key change attempts to get into room as lock was out of battery. Ended up having to be swapped to the quieter side of the corridor but unfortunately had a noisy family group opposite that spent hours (9pm-12pm) noisily swapping between the rooms that are not interconnecting. Although the bedding and towels and bathroom were all clean, the carpets in the hall and room seriously need cleaning.

Food is great, especially the salmon! Chef Tapanil provided a special, delicious banquet for us! The chef didn't usually work on Saturday, but Chef Tapanil prepared a banquet for me and my family! I cannot say how much this meant to me as a family member joined me from WA because restrictions were lifted! We were able to meet at a difficult time and Chef Tapanil made us a special meal! I've stayed at Ibis, Thornleigh many times, sometimes difficult times due to Covid restrictions. At all times the staff have been welcoming, friendly and attentive to my needs. As a woman travelling alone on many occasions, I have felt safe at Ibis. There is always someone around.

We stayed here for a family weeding. It was clear and tidy, quite and food was good too. Well recommended.
