The room I’ve booked in had issues with the bathroom… as the water was flooding the shower area and we informed the receptionist.. but they said that they tried calling me to change the room but I’d not got any missed calls… very bad experience as it was really disgusting to use the shower as the water did not drain away as we were a family of 4 we had a very hard time using the bathroom…

We stayed with 2 kids for 5 nights. It was a great accomodatiin. Room and toilet bathroom was very celan and neat and tidy. The room was big spacious for 4 people. Breakfast was standard continental buffet. Parking was good. Train station was only 5 minutes walking. 7 11 was on the way to the station so can get the Opal in there. There were some restaurants and fastfood chain just outside the hotel and petrol station. Access to freeway or motorway just around the corner. Very good location for a hotel.

Great hotel for family. Breakfast was good but wish that they changed several dishes everyday instead of just changing one or two. Facilities is ok, such a pity that there is no swimming pool.

Very disappointed with check in time. We were two families driving from Brisbane to go to NRL Grand Final. We rang the week leading up to our arrival to confirm checkin time & explained our situation to be told 3pm. We also rang several times on the day & told we might be able to get earlier checkin time. We arrived at 1.30pm & told to wait & it probably won’t be until 3pm. At 2.30pm one family of our group got their room while we continued to wait & told it should only be about 10mins. 1 hour later & still no room. During this time we kept inquiring & told 5-10mins. By now we were running out of time & had to had impose on our friends to have showers, change & leave our baggage in their room. I inquired again on our way out to game at about 4.15-4.30pm as we would need a key for when we returned later that night after the game. Finally I was given a key but unfortunately too late to use before we left or even put our bags in. This experience was very disappointing. A 3pm checkin would have been enough time for us. I understand that there is a check in time but if you say 3pm I don’t expect it to be 1 1/2 hrs later.

Good place to stay for a family. Check in time at the reception could have been faster especially with fully prepaid.

Didn’t receive bed layout we required. Hotel staff took over two hours to bring rollaway bed to our room. Had small children with us that needed to go to bed and couldn’t. Will say they did give rollaway bed free of charge which was nice.

This was my second stay here whilst visiting family and it was even better than the first. The staff were really friendly, room was spacious with two doubles and a big couch, the bathroom was fine and very clean. The breakfast was really good, just as good as breakfasts I’ve had in 5* hotels so absolutely no complaints. Good location for Macquarie Centre which has restaurants, there is also a restaurant below the hotel (Ribs and Rumps) as well as the hotel restaurant. I paid for parking because street parking is tricky, but it was reasonable at $15 and I got a good rate so wasn’t too bothered. I will definitely stay again.

Overall the room was clean and tidy but very disappointed that wasn’t told about the $15 car park charge that’s not even secured or covered extra $100 deposit on top at checkin and then staff knocking at your door at 11:30pm to make up the bed for the children quite rude when it had already been done 😫
