Mulberry Collection Silk Village

The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The pool are was nice and there was a small kids play area. The room was spacious although the floor was very dirty when we first entered. The room could do with a clothes hanging rack and another bedside table. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They helped to make it an enjoyable stay.

The property is large and beautifully maintained with two large pools and extensive gardens. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied and the staff especially Thienh, were so friendly and helpful and offer to assist with booking tours and dinner option suggestions. The property is set within a residential area of HoiAn, a good 20-30min walk into the old town which involves walking along some busy roads (may be tricky with young kids). However, there is a free shuttle service which takes you to both old town and An Bag beach and plenty of taxis and it only costs a few $ to get into town using taxi’s. Despite not being super close to the old town, it was really lovely being able to walk along the residential streets and see all the little makeshift restaurants and shops that are set up. Also plenty of mini supermarkets to get supplies and authentic eatery options available. Overall, I would recommend if you are happy to be a little further away from the Old town and keen to be immersed in the everyday life of the people of Hoi An.
