It was good for our family. Rooms are clean but beds are hard and there is no shower curtain which floods the bathroom. Very close to Russian markets

Our family had two huge rooms with a lounge area. The rooms were very clean. You could hear some street noise - although that didn't stop us from sleeping. The pool was a nice relief from the heat - although the steps were uneven and the tiling was a bit average. The best thing was the Skybar which provides wonderful city views and a great drink menu. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

4 out of 5 stars

We stayed in a junior suite which gave us more room to manouver around and relax. The suite was freshly painted and the sofas were quite comfortable to sit on. It would have looked more homely if there were a couple of paintings on the wall. Please note that there is no shelf space or drawers and only 5 hangers for dresses etc. The bottles of water are small and only 2 per room are free. There is a small supermarket as you walk out of the hotel to the right which sells water, beer and nibblies at a very good price. The breakfast was very good with enough choices of both asian and western food. The menu was varied every day. The dinner menu was the same every day and not much of a choice but prices were the same as eating out and food was very good so we ended up eating and drinking at the roof top bar and restaurant which the view from there would have been the best view ever and the bedt highlight of our stay in Saigon. Watch out when exchanging foreign currency at the hotel as the reception staff will give you a lower rate for smaller notes which I found quite unfair. Hotel was a short drive from Ben Than Markets area. We took a taxi there daily and walked around the town always heading back to the Hotel from different avenues to take on the scenery and experience the different ways of street life. It was hot and humid but we managed to see the sights which were in walking distance from each other. The water puppet show is a must.
