Lakeside Lodge Resort & Marina

It is a great stay! however there was someone going around and raking the dead leaves when we arrived (making it hard to enjoy the outside) then they left the piles of leaves in front of our chair. And picked up the dead leaves when we were about to leave. Hard to enjoy the outdoors when someone was outside. This should have been done BEFORE tenants came in. Also, we lucked out and got a family with two small children in the cabin on the other side of the thin wall. They were up at 6 am and being obnoxiously loud. I was not able to sleep in and woke every hour until I decided to get out of bed. Disappointed how thin the walls are.

It was really cold inside our cabin. The fireplace did not put out heat and the thermostat for wall heat was rigged so you could not turn it up higher. This resulted in the room being about 60 to 65 degrees. Also, there was a family next door at all times and they were so loud. The walls are very thin. It seemed like they were in our room.

Have stayed here several times now, this time with four cabins and small children. If you're looking for a wonderful view, this place is it. We all talked that we will stay in these cabins each time we visit Pinedale.

Cabins and scenery was amazing. Our family enjoyed it very much. We hope to go back in the summertime. The only think that is a negative, is you can hear everything coming from the cabin next door. Normal talking and footsteps all the time.

It was a nice stay. We had our toddler and our chocolate lab with us. Unfortunately PETS AND PEOPLE are not allowed to swim in the lake on this side of the shoreline. People/pets can swim on the other side of the lake but not where this lodge is. I think its important to point that out to people. As you pull into the parking lot, there is a sign saying that they obtain their water directly from the lake so no swimming. Takes most of the purpose out of staying right on the water. Facilities were clean, staff was friendly, and gave suggestions for local places to visit.
