Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Appleton, WI

Hotel was ok. We were in town for an AAU basketball tournament. Pool water was cold (65 degrees) so my kids were disappointed - it’s such a nice big pool area too so it’s too bad we couldn’t use it other than hot tub; walls in rooms seem thin - we were on first floor & people above us kinda loud; I would recommend a higher floor. Heat/AC in room hard to regulate. Can’t just run the fan either to help with white noise. Breakfast was decent. Friendly staff.

Lukewarm - is my review of this property and our experience. First off I want to say how misled I was by the other reviews giving 8-10 stars for this property- WHAT?!? The exterior of the property and outside pictures must have been recently updated as that is the only updated / nice thing about this Country Inn & Suites. Quite frankly I am shock and how underwhelming this property was in comparison to others within that chain. First room had an unclean bed - stains on sheets. Requested a new room and was apologized to by the front desk - very kind gentleman and a new room given. The rooms are older, minimalist / cheap questionable furniture, and not updated at all. It wasn’t dirty, but also not clean. It was mediocre. The pool area setup was decent with chairs, tables, etc but the pool was cooler and a milky / cloudy color. Hot tub was just the opposite of hot, it was lukewarm - less than normal bath water and the same cloudiness of the pool. Made me question the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. Pleasant people, but I will not return with my family.

My family and I only stayed a night and got in late, so we didn't get to use the pool. With that being said, the room was fairly basic but very, very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and check in/out was a breeze. Good value for the $. We will stay here again next year when we return to WI.

Booked a queen suite but got there and was told they don't have them. The staff was kind and tried to accommodate us but we still ended up with two adult kids on the fold-out couch and one on a rollaway bed. Not ideal for five sleepers to have four spots.

The hotel was in a good location. The only problem we had was noise from the people above us. When we got to our room it sounded like someone running back & forth and jumping off furniture. I figured it was a child burning off energy being in the car too long. When we returned to our room after dinner it only got worse. I called the front desk explaining the situation and our room was changed quickly. The rest of our stay was quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Stay here 3 times now and will again the next time I will be visiting family and friends.

Excellent amenities, great staff and awesome continental breakfast. Well worth the price for a family of five!!!

The hotel location was excellent as it was within blocks of the Fox River Mall and numerous eating spots. Room was very clean and well appointed. As an added bonus....Both the pool and hot tub were not being used in the early evening, so our family had both all to ourselves :)
