The hotel was very good. I was in town for business for the weekend. It was a holiday weekend and the place was full of families. Which is fine but not ideal for quiet. The room was very good and so was the service from the staff.

The grounds are beautiful. The outside of the resort is beautiful but the actual hotel in the resort it’s not great check-in was fine. The hallways are muggy and very, very, very, very humid. No air circulating got up to the room to check in our actual room. there’s dirty dishes laying outside of our door With melted fruit on Them. TV was unplugged no signal and didn’t work. My husband fixed it by plugging it back in. It took me a minute to figure out hotel room. Went down to the pool was under the impression splash bar at the pool was open till six. My daughter was starving. We were going to eat at TJ muskets later. The splash pool was closed only open half the week the other restaurants only open days mild days. I wish the restaurants were open every day, at least five days a week. TJ Was the only restaurant open course they’re backed up. It would be nice if the waitresses or whoever could run the food out to the patio, which is steps away so plan to only stay one night wouldn’t have to walk into the restaurant Wet wet from the pool seeing how they didn’t plan for nothing to be open and they don’t know what the Restaurant entailed . But when you have a starving kid and only one restaurant open there and a towel as People are around you eating. After food, which I would say was not worth the money we went to the hotel room and watch tv Also, They don’t do fitted sheets. The lady told me because of bedbugs I said, how are you gonna get the sheet to stay She said Tuck it?🤐

Beautiful resort located on 1900 acres and surround by State Park. There were several deer we saw walking around, once while walking one of the several trails, and he wasn't afraid of us at all. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. We are dinner at three restaurant bar and the margaritas were excellent. The beef nachos were terrific as was the burger. I'm glad we shared both because the nachos were a meal in themselves. The resort is right beside a lake, which made for beautiful views. The pool was both outdoor but connected to the indoor pool. It would have been nice to have an adults only pool and hot tub, since there were alot of kids.

I enjoyed my first visit to Stonewall Resort. It’s less than two hours from home so it made for a nice getaway. The grounds - the lake, trees, golf course - are beautiful and peaceful. There were groups meeting there, a wedding and families with small children vacationing but it did not feel crowded or loud. The guest rooms could be modernized a bit but they are comfortable. The restaurants are high quality. Great food! But they definitely add to the overall expense. The spa was booked through the weekend so I wasn’t able to get a massage. (Call ahead.) But I used the gym and felt comfortable walking the grounds. I would have liked more planned activities - guided walks/hikes, bike rides or yoga, for example. But it was extremely hot so I was also happy relaxing in the lodge and by the lake with a cool drink in hand.

Be ready to pay high cost for food. Nothing given for breakfast with booking. Just like everywhere have employees stretched out, trying to cover multiply positions. Went to lunch at golf course after checking out, to use a gift card and only had 1 waitress for the whole restaurant. Took an over 1 hour for a kid's chicken nugget meal, which we just took to go. Then the gift card system was down.

It is our third time for staying there. We brought the grand kids, ages 4 and 13. It was their spring break and we needed somewhere for the kids to swim, relax and eat. The only thing that I did not like was we all went into the Gift Shop and spent $120. Later that day my 13 grand daughter went back to my another of one of the things that we bought earlier and the clerk wouldn't let her in. The clerk lost a $50 sale. Now I have no desire to ever buy anything in the Gift Shop ever again.

Perfect getaway for the entire family! Traveled with my husband, 5 yo son, and dog. Everyone was so friendly from the moment we arrived to checkout. Plenty of amenities to keep us busy or relax when needed. We’ll be back soon!
