Hilton Garden Inn Morgantown

Great as always just a quick trip to visit the kids at WVU

To start, the wife and I stayed here only because other hotel's in Morgantown were booked up. We usually stay in Hilton's so we didn't expect the issues we had. Check in was a breeze, CJ was very helpful, and got us a room as soon as we arrived, made everything extremely easy for us. When we got to our room, the floors were dirty, the bed was dirty, made, but dirty. It wouldn't have been so bad if it just had a deep clean to it. Trying to get settled in, we heard the noise of ungodly giggling and screaming next door, almost as if children were unattended for a certain time. On the other side of us, we heard what sounded like a Snoop Dog show with loud, obnoxious moaning, this only lasted around 10-15 minutes, must of hit it and got out. Back to the kids, the wife and I are settling into bed, and trying to fall asleep when the kids next door to us kept screaming, hollering, and making noise. After about 20 minutes, one of the dads of the group comes in and says "who has been knocking on doors? I just got a phone call and said you were knocking on doors!" The kids were all arguing saying they didn't do it and he didn't know what he was talking about. Finally after 30 minutes of arguing and not being great dad and scolding all the kids, he makes this statement, I kid you not, "Alright, if you didn't have any part of it, don't talk? So who done it?" All of those little started talking again, and he was livid. I guess he had to leave the wife for the night to babysit the children

In town to visit family and would recommend this hotel

Just an overnight trip for a family medical appointment. Hotel was VERY clean and the staff was super friendly. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, pool or any other amenities as we got in late and had to leave early the next morning but hopefully will be able to do so next time.
