Hampton Inn & Suites Morgantown / University Town Centre

The staff was very friendly and nice! I always stay at this hotel when I come into town to visit family. Bonus coffee all the time!

I loved my experience at Hampton Inn. I have stayed at several hotels over the past few months and I must say that this place was a lot cleaner than some of the other hotels. The beds and pillows were clean. The washroom didn’t look gross. Looks like they might have done some renovations or the hotel is fairly new. Here are some things I liked and I didn’t like. Positive: -Hotel is right off the highway -Shopping/restaurants nearby -Lots of parking space -The indoor pool was clean and heated. My kids loved it. -Breakfast had lots of options -Beds and pillows were comfortable -Washroom was clean! (A big thing for me) -Good quality toiletries were provided -AC/Heater was in good working condition -Carpets were clean and no bad odours in the room Negative: -I wish there was vegetarian omelette. Really wanted to eat the omelette but it had meat in it -Not a lot of storage space to put stuff in -Water flow for shower and sink was not enough Overall, I had a great experience. Will definitely visit again!

This was the nicest hotel we've stayed at with hotels.com. Everything was excellent. The free breakfast was great and the breakfast room was very comfortable and condusive to hanging out with family. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Great experiencew.

I stayed with family multiple time, it’s good property but couldn’t have anything for breakfast, serving area closed at sharp 10.00 am and i arrived at 10.05 am. Not fair.

Very nice, clean hotel near Menards. A home away from home when visiting family.

Being Christmas week during a major winter storm, the hotel was not very crowded at all, so it was very quiet. A great place to spend time with our kids and grandchild. We even celebrated our anniversary with the help of the staff! The only thing we had trouble with was the heat. The units could not be turned off completely, so you either had cold air blowing out (or around) the units or you had to crank up the heat and eventually get too hot. Other people had the same problem, including the front desk lady (who was so helpful, in many ways!) who had to stay in a room because she was afraid she couldn't get into to work the next morning. Other than that, it is a great place to stay. We plan to come back in better weather and enjoy all the shopping and dining available nearby.

The Hotel is great. My issue is Expedia. I booked the hotel and put the wrong date in by accident. I called Expedia right after I booked the hotel and they said they fixed my booking. So I thought everything was fine. After driving 14 hours I went to check in with my small kids. I learned that Expedia had changed everything to the right date on their end and sent me all the confirmation emails. It was not fixed through the hotel. The employee at the hotel was really helpful. I had to contact Expedia and the rep there was helpful and was able to get me a room. Nothing like driving for 14 hours and then sitting in the lobby for an hour figuring out why we couldn’t check in…. I am not sure if I will use Expedia again.
