We had such a nice time at this hotel and the staff are warm and excellent! The fresh ground coffee for the French press was a nice touch. The hotel is older and has charm. We stayed in the older building. Rooms are spacious and our whole family could gather in one room before going back to our own. The beds and pillows are not the most comfortable but OK. You can hear a lot through the walls, so glad we had earplugs for sleeping. Great location and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the farmers market. Happy hour in the lobby bar evenings and all night on Sunday. Didn’t try the spa, but it smelled amazing and would definitely go back!

Charming and homey. It did get a little hot at night, even with the Windows open, but I tend to run hot. The Windows did not have screens on them, and this was on the 4th floor. We don't have kids, but if we did then we'd have asked to switch rooms. That's a huge safety concern.

Our young family enjoyed an overnight stay recently and only have good things to share about the Majestic. The room was very spacious and had an elegant touch. The fresh coffee for morning French press was a nice touch. We climbed all the way to the top of the original building and enjoyed the 360 views of town. Ordered the steelhead to the room and no crumbs were left. I wish we could have enjoyed the elegant dining room but there’s no such thing when travelling with a 14 month old. Recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a touch of luxe without breaking the bank.

Staff is very professional and inviting. We stayed with small children and our pet. They welcomed us with a toy and treats for our dog and fresh coffee to bring to our room. They also offered us accommodations for our baby. We were without power at home due to a brutal windstorm in the area and it was an absolute treat to stay here. A hospitality. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable room service was fast and food was delicious. Me and my husband can’t wait to come back to enjoy the spa and other amenities on a trip without kids :) This location is perfect it’s right down town close to restaurants and shopping and direct ferry access. Beautiful property and wonderful staff. We will be back!

Nice hotel BUT, this was a family girls adventure we had booked this hotel specifically because it had a spa. It was a snowy day and difficult travel so we called ahead to be sure the spa would still be operating. We called both the hotel and the spa and both said yes so we went ahead and got ourselves to the hotel. Yet, the next morning we were informed the spa was closed. SO - FYI the hotel begged out of any responsibility as the SPA is a separate business. I have yet to find out what the spa will do to make it up to us. The hotel is saying it isn't their responsibility due to being a separate business. We would have stayed home and gone another time had we known, or even been told there was a chance they would close it. We made that very clear to the hotel when we called ahead of arriving.

Nice room seemed newly updated. I would ask for to floor in the future. I got the stomping kid in the room above me. Love the coffee in the French press made it a bit more like home. My only grumble is if you want ice you have to go back to the 1st floor. But I will definitely be back staff was nice. Did not eat the but menu looked good.
