Hampton Inn Stafford/Quantico & Conference Center

Very reasonable great breakfast..lived in stafford as a child nice to come home and have such a convenient place to sleep to moms house and easy to access i95

I had specifically reserved a room with 2 double size beds and a pull out couch. When I checked in we were given a room with only 2 queen size beds. The front desk stated "we ran out and this is all we have left". Well, what is the point of a reservation if they are going to give your specific room away? The front desk blamed it on Expedia stating that because I made my reservation through a 3rd party and there is nothing they can do. I was given a roll-away bed but the room was tiny so there was hardly enough room for my family.

I prepaid my reservation via Expedia and called the front desk at 11pm to advise I would be arriving approx 2AM or after because I was driving from NYC. I arrived at 5am with my 10 mo, 3yo special needs child that was already anxious from the long drive, and my husband. When I go to ck in the rep tells me they don’t have anymore rooms. I was utterly in disbelief being that I had already called in. She was extremely rude and basically just placed blame on the rep I spoke to on the phone. Long story short after an Hour of not budging because I seriously had nowhere else to go with my family and an important function to attend in just 4 hours. A room miraculously appeared to be clean, however it wasn’t the suite we paid extra for. It was a reg non-handicap accessible room. But at 5am and my family in a cramped car I had no choice, but to accept! I was not offered any compensation for the inconvenience or difference in price. Once settled I had to call myself Expedia and the rep gave me a $50 COUPON on my next reservation…WHATEVER! I was just glad that after the rough start we had a great stay and family function. The pool was clean and the water was warm the kids enjoyed it. And the continental breakfast was great and the morning staff were very friendly and helpful.
