Comfort Inn Woodstock Shenandoah

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The room was a little snug with two queen beds, but they were really comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Also, the woman who managed breakfast was so thorough about her job (even seasoning the eggs which are never seasoned at a hotel breakfast) that breakfast was a delight, and my kids enjoyed the complimentary popcorn in the evening.

Rooms could use some love, especially the bathroom showers. Suggest pet friendly room get rid of the stained carpets and have a plain floor. Much easier to sanitize and keep clean…last hotel we staid at didn’t have carpet 😊 staff was fantastic! Loved Merithid professional so kind. Loved the treat bag for my fur baby and poop bag extra touch.

We needed a clean, safe and convenient place to stay for a night on a 15 hour trip. This place checked all the boxes. Great for families

My 20 month daughter crawled under the sink to get her binky and dumped a tub of hazardous material on her. Damp raid. It spilled on her binky and she ingested it. She got a rash and her eyes were red and swollen. We called poison control and they told us to watch her breathing because it can cause heart problems and muscle issues. We finally after talking to 3 different staff members found out the hotel doesn’t even use that chemical and don’t know why it was under there. So we said do our rooms not get cleaned enough to know there is a hazardous chemical under the sink! And now our daughter is sick. I’m also sick now due to breathing it in. And to top it off, when we asked for someone to clean it up the staff said we had to do it. We have a 7 month old and 20 month old in the room. We don’t work here and shouldn’t have to clean something up that caused harm to our kids and our self!!!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I’m looking into suing, they didn’t want to give us our money back for the stay either. We finally got that back, but they should have offered and offered us free rooms for the rest of our life due to their negligence and harm.

We stay here a couple nights a year due to half way to our daughter and family in NC

Stay here every year for the yard crawl. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast. If kids need a pool they have that too.

This was a good stop for our family- right off of 81. The property is older but the stay was comfortable, breakfast was great and the staff was lovely.

My stay was great! Friendly staff great with any and all needs and questions. I and my sister have just one suggestion. Being that we travel mostly just the two of us. When we notice the room is a joint room we block that door for comfort. It would be great if ALL Hotels would put a extra lock on that door, maybe a slid lock like the room door has. It’s just a thought for the woman who travel alone and worry about things like this. I would stay and recommend this hotel to other family and friends to stay great people on staff.
