Travelodge by Wyndham Low Moor Near Covington

This was the first time we ever visited a hotel with no front desk. Checking in at the diner next door created difficulties from the start. There was one employee (McKenzie) who served as front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. Our room smelled like urine, and our daughter's room had a toilet that wouldn't flush and carpet that was so dirty that the bottom of her children's feet turned black from going barefoot in the room. Right outside front door was a bench used by smokers so the area reeked of cigarette smoke. The only positives I can come up with are the bed was fairly comfortable and the AC unit was pretty quiet. The price ($135) was much too high for a hotel that was this bad. We'll never visit another Travelodge.
