The facility was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. The gift shop located on site had hours posted that stated it should be open from 7:00 until 11:00. It was never open once during our entire three day stay. With no vending machine working on more than one floor and the ice machines out of order on all but two floors, there was no convenient place to get a snack or beverage to enjoy in the room after coming back to shower and relax during the evening. Finally, the key cards were inconsistent and finicky and took multiple tries to get them to open the door. While we were checking in, another family who had recently checked in came back down to get new key cards because theirs wouldn’t open their assigned room. On our last evening, hot and tired and ready for a shower, our key cards stopped working all together. I had to make my way back down for new key cards while the rest of my family waited. The front desk staff laughed and stated this was a typical problem and earlier in the day there had been a line of people who needed new key cards also.

Hotel very dated. Had to complain about extremely noisy kids in the hallway every morning and evening. Expensive

Wrong room booked, making for a terrible nights sleep for my family. I specifically booked a suite to get extra room to allow two small children to have a separate sleeping space. The wrong type of room was booked. Not sure if this is an Expedia problem or the hotel but it was wrong. Hotel staff confirmed over the phone that their pool was open, only to find out when we arrived that it was not. The pool was another reason we booked this hotel. Staff on the phone also told us parking was included. Expedia hotel features indicated price of breakfast was $12.95 per guest. Not so. Breakfast menu items were individually more expensive than that. Broken furniture in the room. Hotel room door had to be muscled to get in. Air conditioning unit very loud. Will not stay at this hotel again.

Overall this property was good. The location was great and our family could easily walk to the metro or to get something to eat. We did eat breakfast at the hotel once and it was good. The staff was very accommodating. We got an early check in, and whenever we needed something (help with the tv, rollaway bed, extra blankets) someone was there within five minutes. My kids loved the pool, but I thought the furniture was in rough shape and the deck could definitely use a cleaning, especially around the edges. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay here again. I will say that our positive stay started with a positive interaction with the person who checked us in. That could have changed if it had been the person who checked us out. She was very rude to someone on the phone and as she was checking me out did not seem happy to be there at all.

When we arrived i thought the room was good enough. And that's what it was. Good enough. Clean enough. But nothing above average. We asked front desk about metro and they blew us off and said to drive. Rooms were freezing and not sound proof. A motorcycle club arrived. They were friendly but there to party. We heard everything. No sleep and my son learned some new words. All the staff seemed disgruntled. Witnessed a waitress get reprimanded since she was the only one working and the bike club and other guests showed up for breakfast at the same time and someone complained about the wait. Not her fault. It was a staffing issue. Coffee wasn't drinkable. Breakfast was good but very limited menu. Kid's breakfast was TINY. At 7:30 the day of check out housekeeping knocked on our door asking when we were leaving. My son was still sleeping. We said at 11. Which is checkout time. As my husband started bringing bags to the car at 9:30 they came in. My son and I were still in there. Nothing like feeling rushed. Waited a long time at check out. While waiting a woman collapsed. She was unconscious and bleeding. Guests ran over. We worked together to call 911 and get info from her once she was conscious. Front desk staff arrived and asked if we were checking out. I told her about the emergency. She said we had it handled and continued checking us out. Another guest demanded they call her room to get her family. She tried once and said they didn't answer. Couldn't have looked more bored.

It was a one-night stay for our family of four. Spacious room. Easy check-in & out... Staff was helpful... Only downside was the heat and a/c. It was a wall unit that would create oppressive heat that had to repeatedly get turned off and on at night.

Location is great. Room was adequate. Small inconveniences like cold shower, leaking bathroom faucet, drippy iron. The reason for the poor review was the total inadequacy of the staff at the front desk. My reservation was for 3 rooms but my 2 family members were not checked in under my reservation, causing me to be charged for the reservation, and them to be charged for the rooms. The hotel flatly refused to correct the error. They then hung up on Expedia who attempted to rectify it on my behalf. Now I have to fight out $800 in charges.

Our breakfast server, Jackie, was very nice, professional, thorough, and personable. Didn't like that the hallway on our floor was extremely noisy with junior high schoolers running around and yelling. Also, it was not easy to get ice. Parking lot system worked very well.
