Aspen At Manchester

Had a great weekend ski trip with the family. The Aspen is located on a beautiful property and is so close to the town of Manchester and about 30 min from skiing at Stratton Mountain. We got a really great rate for our stay and couldn’t be happier. The rooms are a bit out of date but this place has so much charm! It fit our needs just right.

Aspen at Manchester was a delightful, vintage hotel and a throw back to motor inns from my childhood. With the paneling and flowered curtains, it was a bit like staying at grandma's house--in a good way! We were close to attractions that we wanted to see and Manchester was probably our favorite place we visited on vacation. Give it a try!

I stayed at this location for business. Very disappointed with the room. There was numerous issues with room and no one to explain the issues to since its only staffed 8am and later. As a business traveler my days start at 6am and need breakfast and to get going early. Not only is the staff not there till 8am but they don't serve breakfast till 8am, again not a business type schedule or a family that has a lot of plans for the day. When I entered the room the TV was on and come to find out I couldn't turn it off because the control was broken. The hair dryer fell off the wall, half of the lights in the room did not work because the switches were bad and the AC was outdated and too small for the room so it was a pain to cool down the tiny room. There was a major lack of attention to detail and I will not be staying at this location again.

The staff was amazing. They made us feel like family. We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was immaculate.
