While researching a 3 week long trip throughout the American SW. this area appears in google map as a pretty desolate area. It is but it has a lot of stuff to do close by. This was a perfect transition to the Grand Canyon from Moab and it allowed us time for a needed rest and I slept like a baby after time in the hot tub and pool. It also allowed a visit through Monument Valley with many great photo ops.

This hotel is a must. Everything was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations (in superior desert view room). We plan to visit this hotel again. Our kids said they felt like celebrities. This was our favorite hotel on our trip, hands down.

It is a gem and the view from our room was unbelievable. The indoor pool is large and hot tub is excellent. A little chlorine smell, but not that bad. Water tasted salty, so maybe they use both salt and chlorine. I swam for about an hour and a half, because it was so much fun. Room ceilings are very high and furnishings are luxurious. I loved everything about this hotel. They have a large community sitting area that is very nice. We had a quaint patio on the first floor looking out over the fantastic Bluff scenery. There is a resort fee of $15, but well worth it. Breakfast is very nice. The family seating tables are a little weird. I noticed everyone tried to sit on the ends of the long tables. Maybe a Mormon thing? I've never seen it before. Chairs could be a little farther apart. That is a very small complaint compared to all the great things about this hotel/resort. I wanted to stay longer and will be back to stay again as soon as I can. When in town, don't miss going to the fort. When you drive by on the highway, it doesn't look like much, but it is a "must see." It was a gem on our trip. They have three short films about who settled the area and it's a very unique method. I don't want to give it away, but when you walk into the main building ask to experience the films. What a fun time we had in Bluff. The staff at the property are super helpful. Briana is outstanding, along with Molly. Can't wait to stay again and visit the fort. Bring your own alcohol.

The indoor pool and hot tub made this hotel a favorite for our kids. The gorgeous views from the pool made the time spent there enjoyable for the adults too.

Absolutely lovely hotel with stunning views. Service was top notch and everything was extremely clean. My children loved the pool and hot tub. By far our best accommodation on a two week western road trip. Highly, highly recommended.

The Desert Rose Resort & Cabins was incredibly impressive. My family enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins there. The property is a surprise at the gateway to so many beautiful parks and monuments. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning with my family.

poor customer service. I did not like that some staff members and their families jumped in the pool and pushed the clients away in the afternoon. Very unprofessional.

Was off season, but the place was really a jewel for the town. Staff was really kind and courteous. Will stay there again. Wanna bring my whole extended family down. Central location to go explore the region and stay in a really nice place. Highly recommend

Booked an executive cabin for one night to explore nearby Monument Valley. Room rates were very reasonable for the off-season stay (February 2016). The hotel is in a prime location for sightseeing in southwestern Utah. The room included a book with nearby attractions and we visited Sand Island Petroglyphs (only 5 minutes from the lodge) after reading the description. Cabin was large, with plenty of space to spread our gear. The queen bed was comfortable. The sink was separated from the toilet and shower, making it easy for two people to get ready in the morning. No kids with us, but there was a pull-out sofa bed that would have slept 1-2 additional.
No breakfast provided and there were very few restaurants/eateries available in Bluff during our stay. Would recommend bringing a cooler and snacks; the cabin included a fridge and microwave so it was easy to prepare a picnic-style meal. Will absolutely stay here again on a return trip to explore more sites - Valley of the Gods, Moki Dugway, etc.
