Comfort Suites La Porte

Nice stay for family. The room spacious for 4 members family.

My family had a very relaxing stay at this hotel. We were only there for one night, but there was plenty of room for each of the children to have a place to sleep comfortably. Thanks to the ample pillows on the bed, I was even able to get comfortable at 9 months pregnant. The hotel is older, but it is very tidy and clean. The staff was kind, and even though we were in the breakfast area a little late we were not made to feel rushed. The attendant even asked if we were going to get anything else before beginning to put the food away! We've stayed here several times over the years, mostly for 1- 2 night stays, and it has always been enjoyable. Our only hiccups this time were that the toilet stopped up, and the plunger kept coming off of the handle. Also, there was no rod on one of the toilet paper dispensers. So the roll kept falling off. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.

Nice property, awesome breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Sleeping difficult due to noisy neighbors and lots of kids running halls. A/C unit was noisy and shut off and on all night - no way to set fan on so it would block noises. TV went out morn of 3rd day. Was near 7 pm (and second request) to get it checked. Offered a room change, but was too late and we were too tired to mess with moving to another room. Left next am.

Very clean. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast changed daily and was well serviced. Only thing that didn't work in our room was the vent fan. It was very very loud and we were unable to use it with which a family all staying together would of been nice lol.

Great stay. Bring an extra blanket. The room was a crisp 62 degrees when we walked in. We ended up turning the AC off the room was so cold. Room size was awesome. We were a family of four. Got 2 queen beds plus it has a small sitting area with a pull out couch it has room for another two people. 4 minute drive to Sylvia Beach, 15 minutes from Keemah. Overall good place to stay.

Definitely will be staying again in the future check in was fast lady was friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and well their breakfast was good with plenty of options the breakfast lady was friendly, nice and helpful. Plus variety of other places close to eat and shop.Downside was the pool it was small I have 3 kids and they didn’t enjoy much time in it due to it being small and crowded.

My stay here at Comfort Inn &Suite was Great. The only complaint I have to add is that the front desk was not very willing to help. I sent my son down to the front desk to ask for two extra big towels and the front desk told him they didn’t have any, like it’s. Hotel how do you jot have extra towels. 😒 other than that our room was very spacious located right above the pool my kids and I really enjoyed our stay.

Property was nice. Other family completely took over pool and hot tub area. Other than that, enjoyed my stay.

It was renovated and nice. It was just really loud in the morning with kids running upstairs and the rooms next door having kids that were loud.

Not a great experience and don't know who to blame, Hotels.com let me book a room at a hotel that has no power due to the hurricane. It has been 3 days since the hurricane and I'm wondering how it was even allowed to book the room? So instead my family and I had to stay in a hot house with no electricity because it was too late to try and find a room. Very very poor and now I don't trust the app.
