The property is clearly located in a high crime, high narcotic use area. Thinking that since it was a Hilton it was a safe choice. Boyyyyy was i wrong. Meth/Crack heads walking the street. The area was horrible. The room description stated Double Room King Bed, so we assumed there would be two rooms with a king bed. That was not the case at all. It is one room with 1 king bed and a pull out sofa. Upon check in we are told the pool was open because we had 4 kiddos with us. People even came in needing towels for the pool. Later that evening there was a sign on the pool that said closed for the season. I spoke with two different people about the pool one said he did not know why the pool was closed and the other said it was closed because it needed to be inspected by the city. I am a Hilton member and have stayed at a lot of Hilton properties but this one is by far the worst. The only good thing i can say is that the front desk person was very polite and the breakfast was decent.

I wanted to enjoy this hotel, but it was impossible. The guy at the front was sweet and welcoming. The room I booked was the king bed with double bed suites. Everything was super outdated, especially walking to the room. Ceilings were extremely low, hallways were crusty, and there were several doors tapped off. Soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit with a chemical smell mixed with pee. It was incredibly strong. The floors were soaking wet from them trying to clean them and there was yellow liquid spilled on the nightstands. It was not suitable at all for children to be in and you couldn’t even walk on the floor. We went back downstairs to tell them the room was unacceptable but they had no other rooms to accommodate our larger party. In all we just left the hotel and asked for a refund. It felt dirty, smelly, there were tons of homeless walking around, and in all just felt unsafe. Dont let the older reviews trick you! I have 2 small children and immediately didn’t feel this hotel was safe or acceptable for us.

Room was large and fit all of us. A family of 7. Front staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Kids loved the waffles. Room needs to be deep cleaned but you could tell they are in the process of upgrading the hotel.

This was NOT a nice hotel. It was gross! First they got us the wrong room and tried to put us in a king room for 7 people. Then I had to go all the way back and get a room with two doubles. We saw it had a pull out bed, which it didn’t. With 7 in our family that meant someone was on the floor. The couch cushions had huge stains. The trash can had a dirty diaper in it. Hair was all over the floor. The luggage cart had a broken wheel and I tried to push it up the hall with all my strength ( I am fit, and it was a struggle). Our room was all the way on the opposite side of the hotel from the elevator on the fifth floor. It was overall uncomfortable and just dirty. The location is by a “budget inn” and a “super 8”, so people were hanging in the parking lot. Not ideal.

Not impressed! We booked our rooms 3 weeks ago and when we arrived an hour after check in time one room was still not ready due to not being cleaned yet. The neighborhood was sketchy. One bed had what looked like dirt on the top cover. The shower didn’t drain so when you showered you stood in water. We had toilet issues as well. The service desk does not answer the phone so don’t even waste your time. (Went down there and they were watching a movie on the iPad) There were no extra linens. Some light fixtures were missing bulbs. Trim coming off pieces of the furniture. The breakfast was a waste of time. The pool was closed. Front desk staff told our nephew the city had to come inspect it because if you get in it you will come out with some kind of bumps all over your body. May I add we had 2 rooms next to ours with little kids running around, slamming doors and wiggling door handles up and down the hall. We saw the manager at their door and she asked them where their parents were and they said they didn’t know. Over all not pleased and would never recommend this hotel to anyone I truly care about.

We reserved two double beds with a pull out for myself and my four children. We were checked in easily but when we arrived to our room we found a king suite with a pull out. At check in, there was no mention of our reserved not being available. I attempted to call down to the front desk but neither phones in our room were connected. I walked down to the front desk and the only solution was to give me a second king suite for my children to stay in without an adult. Luckily two of my children didn’t actually end up traveling with us last minute but the hotel was not aware of this and would not have been able to accommodate us when we arrived at 11pm at night. We were not excepting to use the pool and were glad of that. The pool floor is covered in green and brown algae and does not look to have been maintenances in over a month at least.

Getting support from the front desk felt impossible. Both phones in our room did not work, so had to call from my cell multiplw times to get more pillows, towels, and blankets for our room that was booked for 4 people and only set up for 2. On our last day, our toilet stopped flushing and when we called the desk twice and stopped by in person twice, no one came to our room to fix it, so it was unusable for the last 4 hours of our stay there. We had to keep doing down to the lobby to use that restroom for both kids and the mens one didnt even have a door on the stall. The tub was also scratchy and worn, so it felt like standing on small rocks while showering. Water pooled there afterwards, so not level or draining properly either.
