Booked room well in advance. Called hotel 3pm to advise we would be traveling in late. Mom alone with 4 kids. Couldn’t get into driveway to park. Checked in to find out room had been given away. Was given a room with king bed and pull out sofa. Was assured there was a rollaway available. Followed by very scary drunk man into elevator alone with kids. When got to room and kids settled got a call to find out no roll away was available due to earlier flooding. Was asked if we could move to a different room. After elevator and time of night no longer felt safe. Asked to receive compensation for inconvenience. $80 breakfast credit applied for 5. Ridiculous. $20 pancakes. Additional bedding not available in room so had to wait 20 mins for that to arrive at 2am. We had extended our check out since we got in so late. House keeping knocked on door at 10am. Waking whole room up. Tried to order food with credit and there was a 90 min wait. Decided to leave and check out. Was informed that they couldn’t apply my credit to parking all though I couldn’t sit for 2 hours for food. Called for car ahead of time and they couldn’t find my keys. Just an overall terrible experience. Didn’t even touch on cleanliness smell or rude employees

It was very close to our activities, but the room itself was not very family friendly. No refrigerator, tiny bathroom, the a/c barely worked, and fold out bed mattress was turning black. The pool was cloudy but was nice because of the size so we didnt feel cramped with how busy it was. You HAVE to valet park which I wish was made clear when booking because that was an extra $50.
Overall it was so/so for our one night. Probably wont stay there again.

Very friendly staff. Specially the Concierge Philip. He did a very good job on the recommendations and attentions. My kids enjoyed a lot!

This was my first time staying at the Fairmont family. I truly enjoyed my 2-night stay. The staff and property manager were amazing. I would definitely come back and tell others to try it out as well. GREAT Service.

The hotel is really showing its age. We were traveling with an infant, so requested a crib. However, the crib was worn and felt less than sturdy. We ended up not using it. Other parts of the king suite was also in the same vein. I’d expect a better / larger bathroom and a wet bar for a suite, but there was neither. Hopefully the remodeling can revive the place, as the staff and location were both great.

Recommend the Fairmont. We won't on NYE weekend so it was BUSY! The valet was amazing and the guys are really curtious upon arrival. The room itself needs a little update but over all comfortable. The view is amazing but they had some rails as if they were maybe doing some remodeling so it kind of blocked the view a bit. The guy in the lobby with a suit is so nice and gave my kids some ballons so I would definitely say this hotel is very kid friendly. The valet is fast even when it's super busy as check in times. Overall great stay!

Horrible room, air condition Broke, agresive people, they invade my room at 3am, ask me leave from room at this hour with my family.
Change a room very noise, people working outside since 8am, one day no cleaning servicie, 2 day no shower gel and Kleenex.
We stay with fear in the hotel, we couldn't rest in our vactions.

Property had a very nice appearance, valet service was great and valet staff were polite and helpful. Concierge staff were very friendly and willing to assist. Staff at reception were overall helpful except for one specific employee by the name of Mariana. She made my two friends, and two children wait because “room was not ready” although it was 3:30pm which is past check in time. She did not offer to accommodate us in a different room, she just told us we had to wait until they called us, however, everybody else checking in were being given the keys to their room. After 15-20 minutes of waiting for her to tell us if our room was ready, we saw her leave the hotel as if she had finished her shift, leaving us confused and wondering when we were getting the key to our room. I had to approach a different employee who was generous and kind enough to accommodate us in a room that was ready. To add to that, the problem is that she did not even bother to notify the other staff members that we were pending our room. Had I not approached the other employee, who knows until what time we would’ve been waiting. Other than that incident, we had a good experience at Fairmont Dallas.

The rooms were dark. The beds were very small. The entire hall smelled of drugs. The entire room was crowded for our small family.

The hotel is very nice but the rooms are extremely small and the beds were very small and uncomfortable. It is not a place to stay with a family of four with teenagers.
