Check in when ok.. went to the room… took luggage up.. went to grocery store since I had a kitchen advertising fully equipped, Cooke for your family, save money. Got back to find one pan??? How do you coin with one pan?? No skillet, just a pot .. went to call front desk.. no dial tone on phone… went down to the front desk.. ask clerk to fix phone.. response was maintenance only works Monday through Friday .. and the are slready gone for the weekend.. Hoew does a hotel not have maintenance on the weekend.. what if something happens?? Ask about just having one pot .. how was I suppose to cook with one pot?? She just looked at me, shrugged her shoulders.. commented by saying that is all we put in the rooms is one pot..and just looked at me… again I asked about the phone, and if they had another I could use.. response was..I would have no idea how to fix it . Said nothing else… I just shook my head, and said I would never stay with this brand of hotel again… No response, just shrugged her shoulders..

Tried checking in but there was no one to help me and other 3-4 guest just waiting for a body to show up. 20 minutes later someone decided to show up and finally checked in. During our stay, there was literally people smoking drugs in the patio area and the staff will not say anything. Elevators stink of weed from the drug users in the hotel and from the patio. Dogs barking inside the rooms ALL NIGHT LONG! There were vehicles parked in the handicap parking spots without permits or plates to allow them to park there. Overall, I will never take my family there. Is just unsafe and drug infested….NO THANK YOU, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

We had a four night stay, day one was okay enough. We were a little taken back how dated the hotel. On the second night of our stay the room felt uncomfortably hot even though the air conditioning seemed to be working. I went downstairs to talk to someone and a sign said to pick up the phone and someone would come and help. The phone itself doesn’t click or give any indication of service. After about 10 minutes someone came out, she was very pleasant and apologetic, they ended up moving us to another room, at 11 PM. Then the next day the power went out. We were very confused looking for the elevator because their system has doors that close over them, to leave we had to take the stairwell, it was so hot and stuffy, I thought I was gonna throw up. I ended up talking to the young girl at the desk, expressing my disappointment but I didn’t want to lay into her because she was not the manager and she was a kid. Probably given her authority she offered to give us “a couple thousand Sonesta points”. We only stay because we found it through Hotels.com, no way will we be staying again. The points are useless.

Even though I paid for a suite that was advertised as "sleeps four" with the included pull out couch, it is pretty hard to use the pull out as a bed when you have no pillows or sheets for it. When I asked the front desk for sheets, blanket, and pillows, I was told, "we have the sheets, but no pillows. I think the blanket was a curtain. It was pleaded. Instead of nice clean sheets, and a curtain, folded nicely, I was given everything in a pile and smelled like sweat. I let my partner and her son sleep in the clean bed, and I just slept on the bare couch mattress. Other than that, things did seem about 20 years old, but it was a nice location. I would stay again if I was alone, it was a good price, but if you want a nice family stay, look elsewhere.
