Hotel Settles

An amazing oasis in West Texas. Built when oil was king)it still is here!) and completely restored to its original glory. Not to be missed. We're planning a family reunion at the Settles for next year.

Had a last min trip with a late check in, had to bang on both doors and some kid finally runs out of somewhere to let us in. I assume he's going to check us in and he just disappeared with another person. We stood at the front desk for about 10-15 min until 2 more teenagers ran past us again and we hollered at them to stop. Finally, night attendant comes in from "fixing the pool" at almost 1am ? She was friendly and checked us in right away and offered a late check out the next day but honestly there needs to be an adult working over night. Other than that, the hotel itself is amazing. Room service is great

We loved everything about this beautiful property! Fantastic how they’ve displayed the history of this 100 year old stunner! From her conception to her demise after the bust of the oil boom in the 1980s to the incredible lovingly detailed restoration! All the fine touches of an upscale boutique in any metro area right here in the middle of West Texas! She once was the only hotel between El Paso and Ft Worth so many have stayed here from Presidents to Elvis! She boasts so many fine details and amenities too the pictures did not even begin to highlight all that she holds! From the amazing pool/hot tub area with cabanas and landscaping to the gorgeous specialty rooms set grandly to the exceptional historical pharmacy bar and lounge area, fitness center, on-site restaurant and spa services! We also tried Devour across the street for a meal and it was exceptional too (food & service in another restored beauty!) so very pleased with this find would most definitely would recommend Hotel Settles as a destination for a romantic or family getaway or mostly definitely your planned stop on your longer travel!

Hotel Settles is an incredible find in Big Spring. My family and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic historic property. Lots of space for my family (two adults, two littles). Sometimes older hotels feel cramped, but our 10th floor room was very spacious. Would stay again. No complaints.

Need more parking. Had a great stay. Grandchildren said they got bitten in their bed at night.
