Walking distance to The Domain with all the stores and restaurants. Nice little pool. Overall quiet, but family with children was in the next room, so lots of children's noise. Dining room very nice: wide and open. Breakfast was very good. Cleaning staff very helpful. Reception staff cold and distant: Wouldn't smile to a clown if they saw one. Couldn't help me with coins for the laundry, didn't know if there was a post office box nearby, didn't have a scale for me to weigh my bags... Little things that we're supposed to deal with with algorithms (Internet etc), but it would be nice if human staff helped a traveler a bit.

My door was pretty wonky and needed repair/replaced. There were kids running around late at night banging on doors. Anytime a guest left their room or returned, you could hear them because the doors are pretty loud.

There is "no service" - including room housekeeping - unless you sign up on a clipboard at the front desk asking for it. I thought I'd rented a "suite" with a separate bedroom and living space - but it was all in one room, so my granddaughter and I had no divided space as expected since she's from the East Coast and I was from West coast and we each needed to "work" on our computers while also there to visit family. The wifi did work well, we never even turned on the TV. Breakfast - was busy- and twice in 3 mornings there was NO COFFEE? Walk over to whole foods for good coffee. I asked where the smoking section was outside? There is none, just wherever outside - no bench, no ashtray, just put my butts in the trash cans that are out there. Overall, it was fine as we could walk to The Domain. My blow-dryer blew up the first night - they brought me a replacement that worked, my keycard didn't work the first try - had to get another, beds were comfortable enough, towels need to be replaced. Wont be rushing back, but fine for the price.

I always like this hotel until this last stay. Yesterday I got the king suite room 201. When walked in room noticed a small bath towel crumpled up on table as well as a bag of trash Red Bull and a water bottle sitting on sink by bathroom. Cover pulled over bed skirt half tucked inn. I questioned wether it had been cleaned. One not to make a big deal about it I didn’t say anything. My girlfriend comes to see me and makes a comment that she keeps having nats fly past her. I played it off as nothing. We got lunch brought it back to room and we ate. Shut the kids on styrofoam lids. Later on she went to take a bite of her food and screamed nats we’re covering her food. Threw both meals away. Took a nap and when I woke took a drink then look down in cup I drank a mouth fool of nats. Couldn’t take it anymore went to front lady very nice moved me rooms but only had a small room nothing close to the room I paid for. She advised to just talk to employee in morning see if could get comped a stay or atkeast refunded the difference for the room I couldn’t stay in. I said ok and finished my night bat free. Called front desk this morning to see if I could check out alittle later and see what could be done about room situation lady was very rude said well we gave u a diff room. There nothing else we will do since booked through 3rd party take it up with them to get refunded amount. Surprised at how was being treated I said can I atkeast shave alittle longer to check out she said no 1200

The hotel is wonderful BUT it was noisy, frat boys coming back to the hotel at 3 am while yelling, smells like weed all around and it's just an enviroment not recommended for families, business or people who want to relax.

We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Clean sheets and towels were wonderful. The location was perfect and close to family in Austin. I highly recommend this La Quinta.

The hotel is in a bad shape. The room smelled like mold and it was not clean. We had to walk to the other side of the building to use the only working elevator (the one next to us was out of order during our 3 day stay). The breakfast was very basic and the refills took forever to come. We had to wait almost half an hour to get food for our kids. It is definitely not a family friendly hotel. The staff was friendly.

Stayed here a few weeks while my family worked on my room at home, and the service overall was good. Being within walking distance of shops and Whole Foods was useful to me.
However, while booking, the property was advertised as having daily housekeeping, and it turns out that is not true. It is every 3 days. Also, God forbid you happen to be in the room when the cleaning is supposed to happen - they would leave and not come back till another 3 days have passed.

Check in was quick and easy. Lots of parking. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the deluxe king suite. It had a bedroom separate from the rest of the suite. Also had a pull out couch which would be a nice option for families.
