The receptionist Desiree was extremely courteous and attentive to me and family's circumstances regarding a mishap with our reservations. Just the grace that she showed and help she provided made the stay an awesome one. I definitely recommend it just for her customer service alone.

This was a great option on our road trip from Destin, FL, to Indianapolis, IN. Rooms were well appointed, spacious and clean. Breakfast was great, with ample offerings for everyone in our family.

overall a fine place to stay, clean room, comfortable bed and good internet, all things i require, TV is important to me and my wife, selection of channels , not very good, tv was very good, HOWEVER, the remote looked like something from the 70s and did not work unless you really really punched and pushed to get a channel to come up. not a good thing, the room and bathroom very clean, however !! again. the hot water in the tub, for a nice hot shower or bath, no,, did not happen, did get luke warm, i got a bath, but we will not be coming back to this wingate ,, there are so many hotels in the area, of course you will spend 20-30 dollars more, but go ahead and do it. IF you are a couple or family , if i was traveling by myself, sure its a nice place, and the people working there were very nice

Clean, professional and my family loved it

Our stay was pleasant, the property, inside was clean as was our room. I had booked a King and we were put in an accessible room, which was spacious, especially the bath. There were no vacancies so this room type was a non issue. There was visible storm damage in the area between the hotel and family in Madison who we were visiting. So I attributed the trash blown under the landscaping to the high winds, which in March are persistent. Breakfast was tasty, especially the eggs, and there were ample choices. Overall a well managed property!

Only gave us 3 pillows for two guests. When we asked for 1 more they said they had none and the bathtub plug didn’t work so my child had to use it while the water ran continuously.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room for the low price. We had the suite that had a nice king size bed and two pull out sofas in a cove. I do wish they had two twin beds in the cove instead of pull out sofas for comfort. It’s so hard to find something for larger families. The shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower was empty as well.

We arrived at the property and noone was at the front desk, there was a sign on the window stating that they were going to be back in 30 minutes. We waited for about 15 minutes abd and then the front desk hostess apologized for the wait and stated that they had a water leak and they were attending the issue. The check in went smoothly hostess was nice and polite.. we were assigned to our room and the first thing that my son and I smelled was the smell of Marijuana, I immediately contacted the hostess which was on the same floor and I made her aware of the smell. She offered some fabreze air spray because she stated that the hotel was full and she was unable to get us a different room. The spray did help and the Marijuana smell faded away. The room was clean, however there were so many things that either didn't work or just didn't work properly. Some outlets didn't work, the bathroom didn't have any ventilation which is causing for the ceiling to peel, the bathroom light mirror was possessed it kept on flashing, but the worst of them all was the bathroom sliding door . My 16 year old was in the bathroom and the sliding door wouldn't slide and the whole door got off the track and fell on the bed where my husband was laying. Thankfully no one got seriously injured my son hurt his toe but both my husband and child were Ok. When I checked out I let the front desk know that they needed to attend to that bathroom sliding door. The men thanked me but I didn't see any concern.

when i went online to make reservations I chose a room with 2 queen size beds. when i arrived i was given a room with 2 double beds. The clerk said they didnt have queens anymore and the site hadnt been updated. i had to purchase another room so my family lwould have enough room. also next morning my niece was rudely spoken to by desk clerk and cleaning staff just because she needed a towel. will not stay here anymore. it used to be a Hampton Inn and we loved it. Real downgrade!!!!

Everything was great. The receptionist greeted me by name and check in was quick. Room was clean and had more than enough outlets for charging all of our devices (3 adults and 1 child). Breakfast was good and kept stocked. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, juices. Only minor inconveniences were that there was a $100 deposit that I wasn't aware of and the drain in the tub would sometimes get stuck and the tub would fill rather quickly. I would definitely stay again
