Holiday Inn Cookeville, an IHG Hotel

Hotel was clean and restaurant was good. Unfortunately, security and cameras apparently don’t work because a few cars were smashed up and broken into. The pool always has kids in it so not very relaxing. The room itself was nice but the AC squeaked constantly every time it would turn off. No complimentary water, which should always be available. Bed was clean and comfy and they still use blankets, unlike the new only sheet things hotels are doing these days.

The hotel must be positioned very close to the fire station, because sirens filled our dreams and woke us up. The room was awkward and Wasn’t accommodating to a family. Large floor space, but minimal furniture and small bathroom.
