Doubletree by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place

We stayed at the hotel while visiting relatives nearby for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed our stay, and found all the hotel staff very helpful. After we checked out of our room and were on the way back home, we discovered we had left our laptop computer in the room. We called back and spoke to the desk clerk who immediately went to our room and found the laptop and was able to hold it and pass it on to our family member who brought it to us. We were beyond relieved to have our computer back, especially when we considered the mess that could have been, had we not gotten the computer back. We know this was above and beyond the normal duties of the clerk and we were so grateful.

We got to our room about 9pm. The toilet was clogged from the previous guest. The cleaning staff should have corrected this while cleaning the room before our arrival. Instead, it was left for us to deal with at night. We had to wait for maintenance to come to fix it. They left and returned with a plunger. He had to plunge a LOT to get it working. It sounded like kids doing cannonballs in a swimming pool. I am not faulting him for this. He did what he had to do to fix our problem. I felt like the whole bathroom was dirty after all of this. I went to get Clorox wipes from my car to clean the bathroom after this because I was grossed out. There went my relaxing night. We had a stay booked with you on September and have now canceled that. There was also no shelf to put soap or a wash cloth on in the shower. What are we supposed to do? Put it on the floor of the shower. Was very disappointed in this Hilton.

Beautiful, clean, smelled good. Loved the shower head with removable hand shower head!!! That's not very common in hotels. Water didnt get hot, only lukewarm, in shower both at night and in the morning, so that was disappointing. Otherwise, great place to stay. Bed and pillows comfy. Pool inside is nice, they have towels available in the pool area for use. Little courtyard is pretty and relaxing. Close to tons of restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Loved the warm cookie at checkin! We did not purchase breakfast so I don't know how that is, just know it is for ourchase at the hotel restaurant, not incouded. But kids 5 and under eat free with an adult. There is a little mexican bakery (Mary's) 2 mins away that has amazing breakfast pastries! Just walk in, pick them yourself on a tray, then they pack them up in a bag when you pay.

The room accomadated out family of 6 which is hard to find in a hotel nowadays. The fold out mattress however was terrible. Our kids basically slept on springs with absolutely no cushion for support or comfort. The other issue we had was that we had no hot water the morning checked out.

Pool was perfect for the family after a long day of exploring the TN Aquarium. Room was excellent. Parking is meh.

The staff was wonderful. Especially Melody. She is the reason why we enjoyed our stay like we did. Towel shortage in pool and room. No shampoo in the bottle inside the shower, recent renovations were not put together like you would assume a Hilton would be. (Dry wall, caulking, doors didnt shut, no bag for dirty clothes). Breakfast is not free. Overall we made the best of it and our family had a good time because Melody was super friendly and very accommodating.

Oh my where do I begin…. Unfortunately, we had a late check in dude unable to find the property upon checking in. Our key was activated three times all three times would not work fourth time they went up and it finally worked upon entering the room there was dead and live ladybugs everywhere the ceiling, the walls, the curtains, the floor, the lamps,The whole 3rd floor smelled of marijuana elevators smell like marijuana. The staff did nothing about it. Very disappointing, knowing there was a hotel full of children. Upon leaving the following day for our venture, there was dirt in the shower. The sink had a brown ring around it. The parking lot was absolutely full. Upon returning the second day, yet again, he did not work up and down three times. The lady bug is she was never addressed the smell was never addressed, There was NEVER towels in the pool area. All in all was a poor property will never recommend this property to anyone and I will never be back

One with family very clean and updated building.

Although I didn't get notified until i checked in that there was discrepancy with my room the front desk was still very helpful and compensated me and my family for the inconvenience. I would still highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean and nice remodeled room, comfortable beds. Only issue was the handicap shower, water Flooded the bathroom and entrance area due to shower curtain installed wrong. It was to high and to far out from the water strip. It took four towels to mop out. Concern was family member slipping and falling non the tile.Once this is corrected this would be a great room.
