The Hotel By Gold Dust

Parking was a bit far. The city was beautiful but adult only. Definitely not small children friendly

I don’t care and you shouldn’t either but this place was the best place to stay for price and location. The people that give bad reviews for this place should not go anywhere and stay home cause you must just want to grip a lot and about everything. This hotel was perfect, yes small boutique style but was perfect for what you want to do in the coolest town of Deadwood… the front desk ladies were very helpful and nice.. I would say the only thing you could wish for would be a rooftop bar!! Just kidding but my wife and I give The Hotel at Gold Dust two big thumbs up… keep up the good work ladies!! We will be back . There were a few things we wanted to do but just ran out of time…

Excellent check-in, even though we were an hour early. No pool, although I wouldn’t consider Deadwood entirely family-friendly, anyway. We weren’t traveling with children, so I didn’t mind. Our tiny room had a portable A/C unit that did keep the room comfortable, but was quite loud and took up precious space and also allowed the massive amount of traffic and motorcycle noise to affect us. The hotel is in an excellent location with free off-site, but easily accessible, parking. Good options are generous, although breakfast seems to be scarce in the town in general.
