Quality Inn Surfside Myrtle Beach

Great Hotel, slept like a baby. It was conveniently located near restaurants and shops.

Asked where laundry site was and was told it was back towards the beach…Being a traveler on vacation he could have been more helpful after the way the building looked I changed my mind about washing my things there anyway …I’m traveling for my Birthday with my children and we are ready to go!! The room is definitely not worth $200! Will NOT be back!! Also there is no battery in the smoke detector!

My family of four stayed for a week and loved it. This makes our third time coming to this hotel and highly recommend it. Welcoming and friendly staff, clean rooms, basic quick breakfast, easy check in and out, quiet stay, and not a far drive to the beach.

What i didn't like was the carpet in the room was wet when we arrived. I asked to change rooms and was told that wasn't possible. I get it, it was the night before July 4th. Clerk took my name and room number and said when a manager was on they would help me, i thought they would change our room on the 5th. No one contacted me at all. We were in town for a competition and i didn't get the opportunity to ask again for a room change, we dealt with the wet carpet with towels. I'm concerned that my kids and i are sick due to the wet in the room, wondering if there was unseen mold. We all left with very sore throats and feeling terrible. There was a dehumidifier in the room, but it was not working as it should, the bucket that the water being pulled from the air goes in stayed bone dry. Other than the clerk that was not helpful not making sure i was contacted, the other staff were friendly as we came and went

I’ll never stay at this property ever again. The staff wasn’t welcoming at all. The only one that treated us with some kind of welcoming was the night clerk. My family and I didn’t feel safe at all because the staff member made us feel like we didn’t supposed to be there at all. It was really disturbing for us to go through that. We paid to much money to for a clerk to walk from behind her desk to watch us and that made us feel uncomfortable. No one should ever have to deal with that at all. We come down to breakfast and was on time and was told it was over but other people was able to eat. That wasn’t fair at all

Being that I'm ahold member I definitely didn't appreciate being awakened 3x by housekeepers and hotel staff when I clearly asked for a 1:00 checkout prior to even checking in the room. The housekeeper was very rude and wanted to argue with at the door. Her exact words was "It's passed 11:00, Y'all should have been gone" like first of all ma'am you're just a housekeeper. NOT front desk so why do you feel you can talk to anyone like that? And why do you feel the need to argue with guests? I was literally soaking wet from getting out the shower to open the door fr why she was knocking so hard that she frightened my small children. I don't recommend this hotel at all. The only good thing about my stay was that the beds were soft and the guy working 2nd shift was very nice and polite.. Other than that 👎👎👎

This hotel was a nice option for our quick overnight stay for a baseball tournament! Myself and 3 kids were comfortable. Love the area. The staff was so friendly! We felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.

I wouldn't stay here again.... my kids were looking forward to the swimming pool but were disappointed to find out it was only 5ft deep and about 30ft long. It looked much larger in the picture on the web site. Plus we found a condom in the pool filter while we were swimming!! Ughh!
