Hilton Garden Inn Hilton Head

We vacationed in Hilton Head and stayed here one night before our condo was ready for us. The hotel itself was fine. Nothing fancy and served its purpose. Beds were comfortable. My kids were disappointed when the pool was not functioning and closed for whatever reason. It was all green and had frogs all in it. It advertised as an open nice pool. I would have chosen a different place if I had known this.

The entire staff was simply amazing. We stayed a week and were treated like family by everyone. I highly recommend this hotel/resort. It's a great place for a low price!!!!

Took a weekend family trip to Hilton Head Island, and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. Check in was quick and easy, and the receptionist was professional and friendly. Got to our room, and it smelled and looked clean, however, the air in the room(124) felt damp/moist, which was also noted by my wife. Beds could have been more comfortable, but was overall satisfied with the room as a whole. My only real issue was with the hotel’s breakfast. Now I have to admit this was my fault, but when I booked hotel, I thought like most hotels that the breakfast was included, however, it was definitely not. I took my wife, and two young children to the lobby to get breakfast before going to the beach, and after getting my four year old son a box of Fruit Loops and a juice, I was asked by an employee if I any of us were going to be ordering from the menu, or just the buffet. I told her just the buffet, thinking that ordering off the menu was a separate charge, and that the buffet was included. She asked me how many, so I told 3(me, my wife, and our four year old son). She then provides me with the total, which was just over $38. I discovered at this time that the buffet was $13.00 a person, which is ridiculous considering essentially every single hotel I’ve ever been to has provided a “free” included continental breakfast. I literally paid $13.00 for my 4 year old to eat a small box of fruit loops and drink a glass of juice… same basic hotel food you’d get anywhere else..but $13.00 per perso

Location was accessible. Ample parking. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Good place to stay for family

The place is clean and smells clean. The room is spacious for the family of five.

Old property. Staff there seem untrained and inexperienced or just don’t care or no management of them. No one to check me in at 8pm on a Tuesday. 6 am woken by loudly screaming kids playing and running up down hall and walls don’t prevent noise traveling. Had two days booked. Left after one day. Something is off about this place.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. We stay here several times a year when visiting our college kid.

Bad hotel. I really hate this this place, the pool is dirty and an alligator is right next to it, no towels and too many dogs at the hotels. Really a poor environment. I will never return to this hotel. No secure for the kids.
