I traveled with my 4 year old granddaughter. Hotel was very safe and very clean. Only complaint about the room was my granddaughter slept on the sofa bed. It was fine for a child but an adult would have been miserable. Parking under the building is convenient but the website did not tell you it was $20 a night.

First, it was suppose to be free parking. Was charged 20 bucks for a night.
Second, after driving hours… I knew I was not wanting to order food like doordash- uber. Never do that. It’s expensive. And did not want to travel arouns to find a place to ear. This hotel said restaurant. But- the oven was broken. Which caused inconvenience to our family. We were hungry and very tired. Took over 45 minutes to get food.
Thirdly, The pull oit bed sheets were dirty had some type of stains and hair all over it. Has to ask for sheets and took over an hour and no apology or anything. From 1am-4am it was loud and I could not sleep.
Number 4… the breakfast was not good. Even though there were select varieties…. Every hotel I stayed at even CHEAPER had better quality of food.
And lastly, my son had to go to a baseball tournament and the parking was ridiculous and not only did I have to walk again back to the service desk to then have them move a car.
This hotel was misleading, inconvenient and falsely avertised. It was not a pleasant stay especially how much it cost.

This was a great venue for a family wedding! The suites are large and comfortable.

The hotel wasn’t in good shape for a Hyatt. You can’t walk outside from the lobby, you have to go down to parking floor to exit. Strange setup.
Why can’t thes fancy named hotels afford a $500 smart tv?
None of the hotels offer that option. It’s very strange to me. If you charge $200 a night, you can afford a smart TV for families and kids.
I hope the management reads this and upgrade their TVs.

Waterfront hotel with views of the river. Directly across from fun areas for family or couples. Everything was clean, polite staff. Rougher parking garage with small spaces but able to park on-site which is appreciated. We will return during the summer for more walkable fun!

My family and I had a short stay here as we passed through Pittsburgh on our road trip. We were very pleased with this hotel.
The staff were accommodating and able to answer all our questions. The room was clean, it slept 4 people comfortably.
I would definitely revisit Hyatt House in Pittsburgh.

Hotel is in a nice neighborhood loved how everything you need is walkable such as restaurant's and shopping stores. The only downfall in our stay was that every night our bathroom smelled like marijuana and made the room smell like it as well since the bathroom’s have connected vent. Definitely unpleasant odor with our child. The smell was overwhelming and it happened each night of our stay. Overall nice hotel and shout out to the guy in the bar he was really nice !!!

10/10 - loved it! Right across the street from an AWESOME family friends bar, Pins! Walkable to stores and restaurants and driving distance to everything else Pitt has to offer without the congestion. Really beautiful views and location. Very pet friendly area. When we arrived the receptionist was so helpful and polite and patient with our 5 and 7 year old’s Q&A. In the lobby on our first night, they were having an onsite “Sweaters and Ciders” pop up event for guests with a cash bar, mini tables from local vendors, music, raffles, a silent auction, and free (delicious) buffet! (Organized by the friendly staff including a very cheerful woman named Carolyn!) The bartender accommodated our weird drink request and the free breakfast each morning was comparable to the one we paid $75 for at a restaurant on our first day there. Door dash delivered right to our door. Only complaint is that the TV remotes werent great - but that’s a champagne problem. Very excited to return soon!
