This was our first time staying at this hotel - my daughter moved to the area after having a baby and we were visiting. The hotel was very convenient, my grandbabies loved the pool and we had dinner at Loxleys which was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely be back

My family had a short, two-night trip and this hotel was perfect. It was clean and convenient. Exactly what we were looking for. Staff was pleasant and courteous.

Room was clean and comfortable (temperature control was a bit tricky but workable). The grounds were clean and spacious. The "pet friendliness" was put to the test when I was called from watching a theatre production about our barking dog. Come to find out it wasn't our pet, but others and the mistake was apologized for.
Management needs to make it clear that it is "pet friendly" and that consumers should expect to have the occasional barker or yapper in the early evening.
Otherwise, the staff from checking in through checking out was extremely friendly and professional. They treated our dog as if he were a regular guest. Some even offered him treats and the rubs he received forged a new friendship for him.
Now if they were more conscious of their human guests and their ignorant behavior it would be appreciated.
We didn't complain when the aroma of marijuana was present outside at the sitting areas and didn't sound an alarm when doors were slamming in the middle of the night. We didn't want it to appear as if we were retaliating for the errant complaint.
We plan on staying again and will bring our extended family member in the very near future, expecting a little more control over the two-legged guests rather than the four-legged one's behavior.
Overall, great location, great staff, needs a little more tolerance shown to our four-legged buddies.

We planned a mini-vacation with the grandchildren. The most important aspect of the hotel for us was the pool. When we got to the hotel, we learned the pool was closed for maintenance. We were told someone would be out the next day but the next morning, we were told they couldn't figure out what was wrong. After our morning outing, I asked to see the manager. I was told none was on site. I explained that, as no pool was available, I wished to cancel our reservation for that night. I was told by the girl at the front desk that she could not authorize that. I asked if she could contact someone who could. I was told no. I was offered a number to call the next day. I noted that that would be too late. I got absolutely no satisfaction and no recourse. She seemed not the least bit concerned that we were not pleased. I did call the number the next morning but kept getting kicked out when it went to voicemail. Again there was no manager on site.
Positives were that the room was relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no breakfast provided but a discount was given at Loxley's Restaurant, which is attached to the hotel. Food was good and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

After my last visit to this hotel, I will not be staying there again nor would I recommend anyone else stay. While the hotel has has some upgrades which are lovely there were several issues that were extremely bothersome.
1. Only 4 channels on the TV worked
2. The air conditioner would not turn off
3. There was a large group of pre-teen and teen soccer players staying at the hotel. They were absolutely unruly at the swimming pool, throwing in chairs, pushing each other in, throwing soccer balls around and just completely overtaking the pool where there were younger children trying to swim and families trying to relax. The management was notified several times, addressed the issue once and then did not return. In addition the same group of guests spent much of the nigth roaming the halls, yelling, throwing things, running, etc. This too was reported to management with nothing being done.

Had planned a small family get away. This hotel and area are nothing like what is described in the pictures. The room was dingy and not like the pictures. We spoke to the front desk for a refund and they told us to contact the third party since they controlled the booking but would approve it. Two days later I was told by the third party that they denied the refund because they did everything they could to fix the issue and offered us other room options. It is very sad when hotels lie blatantly like this. This is not good business practice and I hope this never happens to anyone else.

We stayed at this location while visiting family approximately 3 miles away from the hotel. There is a restuarant on property that was highly populated on all evenings except for Thanksgiving nights. My brother, a local, declares the food at the restuarant as terrific although we did not dine there.
There is also a sports bar on premise that was hopping each night we were there. the hotel exterior is well-maintained and nicer in person than the pictures on the site present. The room itself was overheated when we arrived, but we could open the windows to let the heat out and cool air in. Being on the ground floor, I was not comfortable leaving them open while we slept. The beds (2 double) were atrocious. They were too small for two people to sleep together and very firm (although if you like a firm bed, this would be ideal for you). We asked if there was a king room available but were told it was not, even though there were only 8 cars on each night in the parking lot.. The shower had good water pressure and there were ample towels in the room without asking for more. The bedding was of good quality without the typical "spread" that one avoids in a hotel. The room featured a flat screen TV with a great selection of choices including the NFL network. A small refrigerator in the corner of the room was a nice feature. We could not find vending machines near our room so we brought water back with us each night. We would likely stay there again, although not in a room with 2 double beds.
