Our room was clean we stayed in rm #319, our family stayed in room #421 and there was blood on the chair. Overall the night was good until the maid kept banging on door rm#421 an hour before check-out

We have stayed at this Avid many times and it is our go-to hotel to visit family in Lancaster - great location, excellent staff, very good price and value, and always clean, attractive and comfortable. The breakfast has also improved with fresh entrees; very nice. Overall great value.

i was booked for 2 nights however 3 nights prior i tried to cancel 1 night due to a funeral i had on the friday but was told by customer service they denied the request so i paid for a night i never was able to check in on that day. kinda sad. also they need to put families with kids on the first floor. aside form that hotel was good

Breakfast options could be better especially for kids but overall pleasant stay at AVID. Rooms were small but totally fine for one night stay. Staff was helpful and accomodating.

The only negative part about our stay was that the rooms are very small, we are a family of 4 and it was very tight! Everything else was goo.

It was a nice stay with my family. My children love the pool and hot chocolate. Clean room with comfortable beds. There is everything you need in the room. It’s a simply hotel with the modern style. Breakfast was good in the individual package. Great service. We had a great time here.

Hotel room floor was filthy and staff refused to mop it. The room had no coffee pot, no microwave, no ice bucket, no closet, no bathtub, and no dresser. Coffee and ice maker with no buckets were on the first floor, but we were placed on the fourth floor. Breakfast choices were lacking and ingredients unavailable for child with egg allergy.

Loved Avid until a minor storm came through and took out the electricity. Can’t believe a brand new IHG Hilton family hotel doesn’t have a generator. I want some of my money back.

The facility was clean. My kids enjoyed the pool. Quiet and convenient to the attractions we planned at the Strasburg Railroad and Turkey Hill Experience. The breakfast was decent. Housekeeping did a good job. No complaints.

Very clean and modern. The breakfast was good with many selections. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying there for a night or two. Rooms are on the small size so it might not work for a family over 5 or 6. I will stay here again.
