Hampton Inn Clearfield

We booked a room w/two beds. When we arrived around 11:20pm there were no more two queen rooms available. We were given two king rooms, but when we went to one of the rooms people were sleeping in it when we tried to enter. Half of my family had to go across the street and pay for an additional room since they didn’t have another room for us and wouldn’t refund us the one room. Unprofessional. One staff was using profanity after a call with another guest. The reception staff complained about the computer system and wasn’t apologetic. Other people showed up to check in and were also given room keys that had guests already in them.

I don't usually use Hampton Inn when visiting Clearfield, but other family members were there. There was always water on the floor from the pool and at the front door, I did slip once and it was seen by the front desk. Also, they only use a really heavy down comforter and it is so heavy you can hardly move in the bed. I had to go an purchase a blanket that was lighter. Checking out their computer was not updated and had to use the front desk computer to print boarding pass. Staff was friendly, there was coffee available at anytime, other than items listed above the hotel was okay.

Stopped for a quick overnight on a family road trip. very fast checkin with friendly service. Room was in great shape. Would stay again.
