Holiday Inn Express & Suites Butler, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was located by food and shopping and was quiet. The lobby was updated but had Pennsylvania gambling machines front in center that my 4 year ild grandchild wanted to play everytime she passed on the way to room pool breakfast etc. The rest of the hotel was badly dated compared to other holiday inn express. The drain in tge tub was missing and it was definetly in need of repair or updating. The ceiling had black around the edges from previous leaks and small holes in the walls with dated bedding and curtains. The tv did not have many options compared to others and the breakfast with pancake machine out and unripe fruit was not up to par with other in this chain. For the first time we regretted staying with this hotel chain.

Very clean pool and it opens at 6am which is great for kids

We stay here everytime we come to Butler to visit our son and his wife and grandchildren. It os very convenient.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We are on our way though with a large family of 7 and this was a great place for us to stay!

There was no cleaning done in the public areas or pool during my entire 4 day stay. There was massive clumps of dirt in the stairwells as well as a "prophylactic" hanging eye level for my young child to have to look at if we used the stairs. It was still there when we left. There was garbage and hair balls all over the floor in the pool that were never cleaned up either. It was disgusting.

The staff were friendly, despite hotel being understaffed. The pool was not available for use the first two days due to maintenance. However they were very hospitable, we were able to use the lobby/dining area to eat take out with our extended family.
