Comfort Suites Meridian and I-40

My family and I had a great stay. Hotel smells nice! One of the beds creaked but no biggie. Bathroom was cleaned and stocked up on essentials. Breakfast was decent. I was skeptical about the homeless around the area but thankfully they weren't around the hotel, felt safe. Check in and out was super quick. Ladies upfront were nice. Definitely would stay again.

Excellent front desk team! Explained the room, the amenities and the local area which helped us enjoy several family meals without the need for reservations.

I checked and went to my room. When I opened the door there was already luggage in the room and the beds were already slept in. I went back down to the front desk and there was another guest standing at the front counter. After standing there for 5 minutes the nigt manager Ashley walked out of the office and the two of them began to argue. I strod there with my daughter unrecognized by the mamager for a couple minutes until she acknowledged my lresence and asked if she could help me. I told her of my situation and the other guest began to continue argue with Ashley. The both of them were acting irate towards each other. Cops were called to remove the guest and Ashley finally gave me another room that was unoccupied much to me and my daughter's delight. I thanked her and she thanked me for my patience. The followomg day i received a call from a provate number which happened to be Akash Patel, the GM accusing and questioming me why i was being disrespectful to his night manager. I asked where he heard this and he told me thats what he heard, apparently from Ashley. I informed him he was told wrong and asked for my side of the story (read above). I do not recommend this property to any one especially family unless you want the potential of having unknown guests walking to your room. Akash Patel and his managers are incompetent!

This was our third stay at this Comfort Inn. We love the nearness to airport, restaurants, and family. The place is always spotless with spacious rooms. The bathrooms and sitting rooms are very roomy for a moderately priced hotel

We traveled through Oklahoma City on our way to Missouri for a family reunion and a celebration of my 80th birthday. The property is an easy drive from Albuquerque, NM and it is just about the half way point in our travels, so that is why we stayed at this property. It is conveniently located and close to I-40 and gas stations. We stayed in room 112 which is a handicap access room. The shower was a walk-in type that had a flat floor to it. The shower curtain was a little short and water splashed out onto the bathroom floor making quite a mess. One of the other Comfort Inns that we stayed in later on in our trip was similar, but it had a nice rubber water dam across the edge of the shower floor and the shower curtain came down enough to block any splashing water from getting the bathroom floor wet. I would suggest that you install one of those water dams on the floor of room 112 to reduce the water splattering on the floor of the bathroom. It would be a safety enhancement to keep someone from slipping on the bathroom floor. We did like the availability of multiple electrical outlets in the room to power phone chargers and other electrical equipment we had in the room. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will come back in the future.
